Happy New Year CUP!!! KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Happy New Year!

It is such a HIHE BLESSING to be able to wake up in the morning and spend time with GOD! WOW! Morning is the best time for me to listen for God's voice in my life. What a blessing to spend time with the ALMIGHTY first thing of the day!

Listening for God is central to prayer.....

It's so critical that St. Benedict began his famous Rule with this command for monks....."Listen with the EAR of your heart!"

The other great thing about morning is I get to share a CUP with Sharon before work and then I get to share a CUP with you!

PRAISE GOD! I am such a blessed man.......thank you for being my friend!

My life is worth NOTHING unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus Acts 20:24

I just pray all the time and ask the Lord what do to next.......

As we go into 2010..........

Leave the broken, irreversible past in God's hands, and step out into the invincible future with Him. Oswald Chambers

Amen to that!

More wisdom for the New Year.......

Let others breathe the polluted air of anxiety, not us. Let's be numbered among those who hear a different voice...God's. Max Lucado

Got a call from a GREAT PRAYER WARRIOR last night Lena, from our Church, she is 93 and she pray's all day long for others! Can you imagine? That is what the Lord has directed her to do, pray all the time for others! She has a LONG list!

I am so fired up for the LORD here as we do into 2010. I may just BUST IN GLORY!!! I hope I go out in my red white and blue outfit! LOL!!!!!!!

Do not feel guilty about the quality of your prayer life, or fall victim to doubts and despair about your worthiness to talk to God. Each of us has a spiritual gift. So remember John Wesley's words, "In Christ we gain more than in Adam we lost."

The great Christians of all time write of prayer as a time of sitting quietly with God. Jesus even went off for 40 days of prayerful solitude.

Sharon and I and the whole family Love you all,

Happy New year and May The Holy Spirit move in AWESOME ways in your life!

Pastor Leonard Goes to India KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Will you pray with Sharon and I for Pastor Leonard Navarre's Mission Trip to India......Will you join Sharon and I in giving a financial gift to Leonard's efforts? Let us pray for an out pouring of the Holy Spirit..........

INDIA MISSION TRIP UPDATE
December 29, 2009

Greetings dear friends,

Just a brief update on the India Mission trip coming up on January 15, 2009. Passport is ready, Visa is in hand and the money is coming in for the trip. Praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. My deepest appreciation to all who have sent funds for the mission trip. Your generosity is such an encouragement to me and to the team traveling to India. An added blessing is that my home church, Valley View Christian Church, Edgewood, New Mexico, designated the Mission Trip for their Christmas Love Offering. I will tell you that the amount given is overwhelming. I will give you a final update as the departure time approaches. If you would like to contribute to the trip please make the check out to Valley View Christian Church with INDIA in the memo line on the check. Mail to me: Leonard Navarre, P.O. Box 990, Edgewood, New Mexico 87015. This way your financial contribution will be tax deductible.

MORE IMPORTANT than the financial gifts is YOUR PRAYERS FOR THE MISSION TRIP. Please begin to pray now for our Leadership Conference, our preaching points, our encouragement to the Central India Christian Mission and of course, our safety and protection. YOUR PRAYERS ARE VITAL TO THE OUTREACH OF THIS MISSION TRIP.

I will take plenty of pictures and of course give you a full accounting as to where the funds were spent. Because of you we will be able to furnish rice, blankets, books for the evangelists, help the children's home and help buy back children from slavery.

Below I have attached the annual report for Central India Christian Mission. It is truly AMAZING what this mission has done and is doing. Thank you so much for all you do for the Lord and His kingdom on this planet. My prayers are with each and every one of you.

CICM e-News
December 9, 2009

On behalf of the Central India Christian Mission family we wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

At this special time of the year we want to thank you from the depths of our hearts for your partnership with Central India Christian Mission. Our whole team stays busy reaching people with the love and message of the Lord Jesus Christ. The sole purpose of our ministry is very simple. It is to be witnesses of the love and saving message of Jesus. Our goal is not just to provide people with food, clothing, shelter, relief or money. We are not about entertainment, social reforms or development, but our goal and chief concern is to share the Good News of our Lord as far and wide as we can spread it. Certainly God uses different ways to reach people. Sometimes we meet physical needs or attract a crowd, but our target is to reach people's hearts for our Lord, so their eternal destiny is changed from being lost to having eternal life through the Savior.

We are grateful for God's provision through our partners that enables us to continue to reach the unreached millions. Your gifts provide the opportunities to touch countless numbers of people every day. Because of your generosity we are able to preach about Jesus Christ through the various ministries of CICM. Thank you for your role in fulfilling God's plan through the Great Commission of our Lord.

Instead of reporting about our various departments, I want to share some facts and figures with you about what God has done this year through CICM.

Our evangelists have planted 56 new churches in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
Over 21,780 people made their decision to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Over 260,000 new people have been reached with the gospel through CICM's 300 plus full time evangelists.
Our Children's Ministry helped over 3,000 children with food, clothing, blankets, educational expenses and minor medical expenses
In the state of Orissa we helped 3,800 persecuted Christians with food, clothing, shelter and children's educational expenses.
Our Prison Ministry reached 112,000 prisoners in 28 prisons with the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Follow-up teams are working with the new seekers.
Central India Biblical Academy provided short-term training to 387 Christian leaders through various seminars and conferences and 48 full-time students are receiving their training to be in the full-time preaching ministry.
We started our new Training Center in Darjeeling at India's northeastern border. This area is a gateway to Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, China and Bangladesh. We have 13 students at the center.
We distributed over 150,000 pieces of Christian literature including gospel tracts, New Testaments, Bibles and other training material.
The translation of the New Testament in the Bundeli language is complete and has been double-checked by the experts. It is ready to be published for the first time in history to reach the unreached 20 million Bundeli people of central and northern India.
Our medical evangelistic team treated over 52,800 patients. Our team delivered 210 babies, performed 850 major surgeries and organized 38 medical camps to reach the unreached through the ministry of the Mission Hospital and the Kansa Clinic.
Our leaders held 18 seekers seminars that reached over 6,000 people.
The College of Nursing graduated 24 students who completed their four-year nursing degree which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and accredited by the State University.
We drilled 28 wells and dug four wells in areas where there was little drinking water available. This outreach became very effective in reaching people with the message of Living Water.
75 children now live at Bal Bhavan (children's home) and are continuously receiving shelter, food and educational and spiritual guidance. We added a new dimension this year as 16 unwed mothers received shelter and care for a few months before giving birth to their babies and leaving them at our children's home.
The annual youth conference reached over 2,600 young people and resulted in 1,756 decisions for full-time Christian service and 1,120 first-time decisions to follow Jesus Christ.
In spite of persecution, adversity and continuous attacks from Satan, Central India Christian Mission continues to grow with over 500 full-time coworkers and 700 plus churches where more than 210,000 believers regularly worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
As we reach the unreached areas, we are extremely grateful to God for continuously providing resources to this growing movement. We are thankful to every individual, family, church and partner institution for your prayerful support, in spite of the difficult financial situation around the world.
We request and pray that you will continue to give and pray for this ministry. We have many needs ahead of us: complete construction of unfinished apartments, provide dormitories and classrooms, distribute Bibles, print the Bundeli New Testament, support at least 20 new preachers, construct church buildings, provide bicycles, motorcycles and jeeps for our preachers, build a new hospital facility, add a boy's dormitory at the children's home, expand the program at Central India Biblical Academy, drill and dig wells, and much more. All this is to extend His kingdom on earth and give Him the glory! To request information about any of these needs, please contact L.V. or Susan Spencer at 713.935.0826 or lvspencer@indiamission.org.
Our entire CICM family wants to express our appreciation to Bro. Ray Murphy who will be retiring at the end of this month. He has faithfully served as CICM's Director of Development since 1999. Prior to that, he served 12 years on our U.S. Board of Directors. The contribution he has made to CICM is tremendous as he shared the CICM story with many people throughout the U.S. We are also grateful to Ray's wife, Nelda, who has been a strong supporter and encourager to Ray in his efforts to communicate with CICM's friends and partners. Ray's contribution to the growth and outreach of CICM has been significant and only eternity will tell the lives that have been impacted through the results of his ministry with CICM. Thank you, Ray and Nelda, for your tireless service to the Lord's Kingdom in India!
As we celebrate Christmas, if you would like to give a special gift to our Savior Jesus Christ through CICM to bless the lives of those who are still in darkness, we will be extremely grateful to you. Thank you for your continuous love, prayers, financial support and concern for our lives and the ministry of CICM.

With Grateful Hearts,

Ajai and Indu Lall,
Josh and Lashi Howard and the CICM Team

ps from Dewey KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM family,

It seems lately that after I said the cup........the LORD wants me to send you a ps........or maybe we can call it an extra donut or bagel..........but when the Lord speaks to us we must listen and follow his voice.......

I have talked for years now on listening for the Lord........It is so exciting!!! To hear HIM!!

I have to tell you.....Sharon and I have many, many challenges like many of you..like the passing of Sharon's Dad, Sharon's on going health issues, financial stresses, my brother Daryl who we never hear from....etc......But what keeps us going is the Lord and His promises.......and He is with us..........

Why am I so excited about the Lord?

Because I was once a sinner........oh such a sinner......and to see the Lord rebuild my life!!! WOW!!! My hero is Paul.......

Now as we are consistent.....life is all about being consistent as we view God as our Father, our Savior, and our Comforter and Counselor---the Holy Spirit----we will begin to see HIM as ONE who is always present with us.....walking right beside us.........who intimately knows us.....unconditionally loves us......picture that........walking hand in hand with our Lord..........does not that bring you peace?

That does not mean we are not going to have struggles here on earth........but the closer we walk with the Lord......the less struggles we have.......

We must realize that God gave man self-will.........so bad things will happen around us and sometimes hit us and our families.

Today picture yourself walking hand in hand with the Lord.........and don't let go of HIS HAND!

We Love you all much and are here for you!

Empty Ourselves Before our Lord CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Peace and Strength of our Lord be with you and yours!

Set NO LIMITS on the LORD!

"May we empty ourselves before out Lord......Empty ourselves!" Pastor Jim Montoya

When Christ is great, our fears are not.As awe of Jesus expands, fears of life diminish. A big God translates into big courage. Max Lucado PRAISE THE LORD!

From Oswald Chambers.........

"God is able to make all grace abound unto you......." 2 Cor 9:8

In talking to people you will be amazed to find that they much more readily listen if you talk about suffering, of the attacks of the devil; but get on the triumphant line of the Apostle Paul, talk about the super-conquering life, about God making all His Divine grace to abound, and they lose interest----"That is all in the clouds," a sheer indication that they have never begun to taste the unfathomable joy that is awaiting them if they will only take it.

The overflowing grace of God has no limits, and we have to set no limits to it, but "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

"Lord, swamp me with Thy grace and glory that ample tide of Thyself may be all in all."

From Max Lucado........

The longer we live in Christ, the greater he becomes in us.It's not that he changes but that we do;we see more of him.

Let us Pray...........

Lord, Let us pour ourselves out too you....Oh Lord.........Let us give all to you! Let us tell your story of grace........Look what you did with Paul........Let us tell the story! Look what You are doing with us! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

ps to cup

Ps.........Some of you who are reading this are thirsting for a closer relationship with Jesus Christ........I can feel it........We are praying for you........praying that the gap between you and Jesus be brought together

Now is the time to close that gap!

I also know out there many of you have family members who are lost.....searching.....or may be close to starting a relationship with Jesus Christ........

Sharon and I are praying.......

You can always email me and we will help if you want........

We are here to serve.........That is our sole purpose........To serve God........and you

We pray for an OUT POURING of the HOLY SPIRIT for you........AMEN!

MAKE YOUR PLANS WITH THE LORD KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

You cannot expect God to do the miraculous if you are not focused on your personal walk with HIM. You cannot expect God to do something through you if you are not allowing HIM to work in you every day of your life!!!!!!!!!! Pastor Ronnie Floyd

Let us make everyday Christmas.........The Lord be with you!

PRAISE GOD All our kids where home for Christmas first time in years!

Thanks to you all for your Christmas cards, emails and phone calls!

Our walk with Jesus Christ determines everything about our life. Pastor Ronnie Floyd

Yes our walk with Jesus Christ........This may sound like a simple story.........but please read......When I showed up at Church yesterday I had no idea what the Lord had planned of course.......But I did have my agenda ......but after Church we had POT BLESSING......Food!!! anyhow, we had a meeting of all of us afterwards and I was put on the Church Board........The reason I bring this up is.......This showed me once again we must be in prayer constantly and listening for the Lord. What would have happened if I did not go to Church yesterday. I would have missed what the Lord had planned......Forgive me Lord when I have not listened to You.

How many times have we missed the calling of the Lord because we were not in touch with HIM?

We have been talking about this now for weeks..spending an hour a day with the Lord at the start of each day........praying and listening........His will not ours........

We all have plans.........plans for 2010........is the Lord in them?

Please let us focus on this scripture as we go on into 2010........

Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"

whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that."

James 4: 13-15

We got a very touching Christmas card from Deputy James McGrane Jr's parents, Jim and Rita. You might remember that Deputy McGrane was assassinated by a thug. His Parents formed the Deputy McGrane Jr. Officer Street Training Survival Training Program.

Here is what was in the card.............

Our Hearts Ache and for ever will.........

I fight not for glory or fame,

For they are momentary,

I fight for those who can't,

I fight for Justice,

I fight for the oppressed and

the down trodden.

And if I should lose my life for these just

causes, then I have no regrets,

For I serve to protect the innocent.

It matters not where or when,

For evil know no boundaries.

Be it fire, flood, or a threat of tyranny,

I will not flee.

Justice is my weapon.

Faith is my shield.

Hope is my armor.

Cry not at my passing,

For it was my Honor to fight for you.

Shed not tears of sorrow,

But tears of joy,

For now,

I stand with God.

A Policeman's prayer

I cried as I read that on air and as I type those words I cry.............

There is a message in there for each of us.

The calling of God's people!

I have received a lot of comments on Pastor Paul Shepherd closing his Ministry because of a moral lapse. Many of you have shared that he was one of your favorite Bible Teachers. AMEN! he had a great following here on KKIM.

I pray that he will be restored and come back sometime.

Many of you also shared in disbelief that people are praying against Pastor's! We need to put on the Armor of God each day........Just think of that.....People praying for the downfall of Pastor's.

Pray for your Pastor...........for all Pastor's..........Pray for all Ministries..........Let us keep praying for each other and our families.

You were planned for God's pleasure. You were formed for God's family. You were created to become like Christ. You were shaped for serving God. You were made for a mission. Rick Warren

I am sitting hear listening to Family Life Today.......Is there any better Radio Ministry program than what Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine put forth everyday? Family Life Today at 7am weekdays on KKIM.

I am so thankful for all our Ministry partners.

Just a reminder you can sign up for this years "Weekend to Remember" marriage Conference coming to New Mexico Valentines Day Weekend. Sharon and I went last year.......what an AWESOME conference! Get more info at www.mykkim.com

Let us pray............

Lord, We pray for You will to be done in our lives......We pray for Pastor Paul Shepherd and all Pastor's.....that they will stay strong and that Your people will surround all Pastor's in prayer and support......That we all realize Spiritual warfare is all around us......And that we will put on Your Armor everyday. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

PS TO THE CUP

The Lord gave me these words to share with you..........

He is thinking of all of us.....He is working on things you cannot even imagine!!! He is making babies......He is calling people home....The one who makes the Sunshine and the Moon glow and the Winds blow and the snow fall........is also thinking of YOU!

Imagine that!!!! Do not worry...Christ is with YOU!

Meet Elliot Christmas Morning CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Merry Christmas!

We Love you so much!

Jesus has diagnosed the pain of the world and written the book on its treatment. We can trust him. From Max Lucado

Who are you looking to follow? Or who are you following?

"Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?

For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him." Matt 2:2

As you read the following from Max Lucado........I can't help but think we need a "Elliot" type to run for Public office........we need more Christ like people in our world! We need more Christ like people in our Government! We are all called to be Christ like, no matter who we are....or where we work......Who do so many become unlike Christ once they start rising to the top? You cannot be split in two....be like Christ in Church and then unlike Christ during the week........We are to be filled with the Holy Spirit constantly....praying constantly.......listening to our Lord....may the Spirit of Christmas be with you EVERYDAY!........Meet Elliot............

Looking for the Messiah,
Part 1
by Max Lucado

SUPPOSE JESUS CAME to your church. I don’t mean symbolically. I mean visibly. Physically. Actually. Suppose he came to your church.

Would you recognize him? It might be difficult. Jesus didn’t wear religious clothes in his day. Doubtful that he would wear them in ours. If he came today to your church, he’d wear regular clothes. Nothing fancy, just a jacket and shoes and a tie. Maybe a tie … maybe not.

He would have a common name. “Jesus” was common. I suppose he might go by Joe or Bob or Terry or Elliot.

Elliot … I like that. Suppose Elliot, the Son of God, came to your church.

Of course, he wouldn’t be from Nazareth or Israel. He’d hail from some small spot down the road like Hollow Point or Chester City or Mt. Pleasant.

And he’d be a laborer. He was a carpenter in his day. No reason to think he’d change, but let’s say he did. Let’s say that this time around he was a plumber. Elliot, the plumber from Mt. Pleasant.

God, a plumber?

Rumor has it that he fed a football field full of people near the lake. Others say he healed a senator’s son from Biloxi. Some say he’s the Son of God. Others say he’s the joke of the year. You don’t know what to think.

And then, one Sunday, he shows up.

About midway through the service he appears in the back of the auditorium and takes a seat. After a few songs he moves closer to the front. After yet another song he steps up on the platform and announces, “You are singing about me. I am the Son of God.” He holds a Communion tray. “This bread is my body. This wine is my blood. When you celebrate this, you celebrate me!”

What would you think?

Would you be offended? The audacity of it all. How irreverent, a guy named Elliot as the Son of God!

Would you be interested? Wait a minute, how could he be the Son of God? He never went to seminary, never studied at a college. But there is something about him …

Would you believe? I can’t deny it’s crazy. But I can’t deny what he has done.

It’s easy to criticize contemporaries of Jesus for not believing in him. But when you realize how he came, you can understand their skepticism.

Jesus didn’t fit their concept of a Messiah. Wrong background. Wrong pedigree. Wrong hometown. No Messiah would come from Nazareth. Small, hick, one-stoplight town. He didn’t fit the Jews’ notion of a Messiah, and so, rather than change their notion, they dismissed him.

He came as one of them. He was Jesus from Nazareth. Elliot from Mt. Pleasant. He fed the masses with calloused hands. He raised the dead wearing bib overalls and a John Deere Tractor cap.

They expected lights and kings and chariots from heaven. What they got was sandals and sermons and a Galilean accent.

And so, some missed him.

And so, some miss him still.

MERRY CHRISTMAS CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Merry Christmas

Christmas is a time for Celebration!

Christmas is a time for Salvation!

Christmas is a time for Reconciliation!

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Luke 2:14

"For I know the plans I have for you," Declares the LORD, "Plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE." Jer 29:11

"The fact that we own a BIBLE......we are wealthy!" Chuck Swindoll

We have been having a problem with AOL on and off now for weeks, unable to send our CUP.....they are telling us they need to put the CUP on an AOL White List. They said it should be fixed by today.......we will see and pray!

If this goes through....Lord Willing we will have more later. Please pray.

Pastor Leonard Navarre's Pastor friend was told this on a plane........My friend was getting into his seat on the plane and he noticed a man praying. Leonard's Pastor friend said, "I see that you are praying you must be a Christian." The man replied, "No I am a worshiper of Satan, I am praying for the down fall of a thousand Pastors." We must realize my friends that Spiritual Warfare is rampant!!! Picture that....a man praying for the down fall of 1,000 Pastors!!! How disturbing is that!!!

The down fall of Pastors.........

It so sad to see that Pastor Paul Shepherd had a moral break down and now his Ministry is closing. Enduring Truth Radio Ministry I believe had risen to 500 radio stations. People praying for the down fall of Pastors!

Pastor Larry Moss shared with me upon hearing that......."So sad......Shepherd was one of the best Bible teachers....."

Please pray for all Pastors and their families this Christmas and everyday.......Please pray for this Ministry and our families.

Yesterday on NM News and Views we had Tom Lester who played Eb Dawson on Green Acres with us.Tom now is 71.....but sound as young as ever. Lester once traveled for Billy Graham.....he speaks all over for our Lord. He shared many funny stories from his days on Green Acres with us. He had Pastor Mark and I laughing so hard!!! We pray that those listening had a great laugh also! It is so AWESOME to have so much CLEAN fun...no more TV shows like Green Acres! His Christmas message was that his folks who were married 72 years, passed on this year.....he shared their love story in the Lord!!

Living cast members of Green Acres........

By the way Lester who is 71, Mr. Drucker the store keeper at 93...and the female Carpenter that was always working on Mr. Douglas house is still living....Her name? Was it Ralph? LOL????

Thanks for all your expressions of sympathy for Sharon's family! Your words are like honey to our souls! We are still waiting on the Military and National Cemetery to set the date for the funeral. Rodger is in heaven with our Lord........I am sure he is telling us all to not worry!

Here is something to chew on for awhile..and pray on.........

I posted it last night on Twitter.........

Don't plow your way thru life........PRAY your way thru!

The great thing about walking with Jesus is that He goes before us to make the way. I love to say that He FOAMS the runway for us!

Had Ben Lucero with me taping his radio show Fridays at 3:30 on KKIM......talking about our walk with Jesus.......Ben said that if in your mind you return to your past...before you knew Christ......that is Satan......working against the NEW that is in you since you accepted Christ. Be strong in your FAITH! Ben has a great God given talent of preaching to business people!

In taping our TV show for Ch 32 KAZQ that airs Saturdays at 6pm Sundays at 7pm....We had a great Christmas message with Ralph Montes of Los Lunas, NM. Ralph has become a great friend in our Lord.......what a message he delivers. He also delivered that message on Dewey's Daily Cup yesterday at 3:30. It will also air Sat at 5:05pm Sunday at 6:15am and 5:20pm.

I PRAISE and give THANKS to the LORD for all HE is doing!!!! For God's Glory Alone!!!!

What am I to think when people seriously approach me and ask me to run for Governor? I have people say that I should pray about that..........I do not feel the Lord telling me that......What I feel the Lord telling me is to go full steam ahead in Ministry work fulfilling the GREAT COMMISSION! I feel the Lord encouraging me to help raise up GODLY people to run for Public office.........that is how I see the role the Lord wants me to be in. I am thankful for all your prayers for me and Sharon and the kids.

I am BLOWN AWAY of all the AWESOME works the LORD is doing!!!!

As Frank Haley says.."For God's Glory Alone!"

I also want to thank Kevin and staff at Bibles Plus in Albuquerque for all their wonderful service here to us at KKIM and the CUP!!! What Godly people!!!

The LORD sure is brining people together!!!

Lord willing all of the kid's will be home for Christmas! Please pray for us.we will be praying for you!

Our prayer for you is That your walk with Jesus will be closer this Christmas season! AMEN!

Sharon's Dad passes on..celebration and sadness KKIM/DDC!!

Dear KKIM Family

Think before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another. Napoleon Hill

Sharon's Dad, Rodger Altman went home to the Lord late Friday night. Thank you all for praying for Rodger. He had been suffering from Alzheimers for years. Friday night the Moede family felt great thrills in the graduation of Gretchen, it was just an AWESOME event.then as we are walking down afterwards to give Gretchen our hugs Sharon got a phone call from her Mom, Betty than her Dad was worse.......I could see such sadness in Sharon's eye's......that look will be with me a long time.......but also the look and feeling we had as Gretchen graduated. It really shows that life is full of events, one moment you are celebrating.then sadness.......while we have sadness we really are celebrating the Rodger has gone home to be with the Lord.....I remember looking Rodger right in the eye's a couple of years ago.........and asking him if he knew Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, His eye's got has big as half dollars, and he smiled so brightly, tears came to his eye's and he said," YES! I DO!"

After the Graduation ceremony we all went out to dinner and had a wonderful celebration. A celebration of achievement for Gretchen! PRAISE GOD! Sharon wanted to continue the celebration and not put a damper on the night.

At about 1:30AM Sharon's Mom called that Rodger had passed.

It will be a Military funeral at the National Cemetery in Dixon, California. We should know more today or Tuesday. Rodger served our Country in WWII.

My point today is that if we are not grounded in Jesus Christ the events of life will swallow us up! With Jesus you can have peace in joyful and sorrowful moments. There are so many missiles being hurled at us by Satan........I see them all over........We must build our houses on the Lord's foundation.........not Man's quick sand.

At the graduation at the University of New Mexico,no prayer was given for the Kid's.NO PRAYER.......There were speeches given by the President Schmidly, Raymond Sanchez, and the featured speaker, Rep Martin Heinrich.....None mentioned our Lord.......The speeches were all based on the human will........that is why we are in the fix we are in! Human will.....Not God's will!

I stood up and raised my arms and prayed to our Lord to put a covering over all those kid's.....

President Schmidly talked about the honor of the University.......Nothing about the dishonor that has been done (at the University: FB Coach etc..) and that he did nothing about it. Rep Heinrich talked about a long list of failures in our Country! This is what happens when you throw God out the window! Schmidly, Sanchez, and Heinrich all talked about the need for leadership in our Country........That I agree with them on, but not leadership in the flesh, but GODLY Leadership.........leaders not afraid to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!! God was not mentioned once by the leaders of the University nor Rep. Heinrich.

We cannot continue to be led by the flesh........we need to be led by Jesus Christ!

Just one final note: All the kid's I talked to said that Heinrich's speech was awful.....way off base. PRAISE GOD for that...the kid's have discernment!

Now let me share with you......what I just got done discussing with you...........proves that in life we need to be able to handle the celebrations in life, sadness, death, and also wrongs and the rights being done in our society.......Only God can give us a steady hand. When man takes off on his own he will wreck himself and others.

This letter is so timely.........God's timing.......

Hi, Dewey -

Just because the email I am replying to was sent on 12/7, why do you
think that I'm a little behind on reading email.

What do I think? you ask.

I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT in saying it's time for revival in New Mexico (and
in our nation). It's too late for politics, there is nothing that can
save
us from our decline but PRAYER AND REPENTANCE, LEADING TO
REVIVAL!!!!

I hope that all those who read the Daily Cup will join in prayer for the
gift of repentance (we can't even do that without God's help!) and for
the result to be revival.

All of us, every day, need to pray for our president, for our state and
city leaders, for each other, for the decisions and laws that emerge from
the coming Legislative session to be godly ones - but most of all for
repentance and revival.

In His service,

Miki Vasquez

Dwight L. Moody
1837-1899
American evangelist
Some day you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now; I shall have gone up higher, that is all, out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal- a body that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint; a body fashioned like unto His glorious body.

I was born of the flesh in 1837. I was born of the Spirit in 1856. That which is born of the flesh may die. That which is born of the Spirit will live forever.

Moody writes.............

Neither devil nor man can break the will that Christ has made. He has promised to give us peace, and there are thousands of witnesses who can say, " I have my part of that legacy. I have peace; I came to Him for peace, and I got it. I came to Him in darkness; I came to Him in trouble and sorrow; I was passing under a deep cloud of affliction; and I came to Him and He said, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39). And from that hour, peace reigned in my soul."

Yes many have proven the invitation true, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matt. 11:28). They found rest when they came. He is the Author of rest; He is the Author of peace, and no power can break that will. It is true that unbelief may question it, but Jesus Christ rose again to execute His own will; it is in vain for man to contest it. Infidels and skeptics may tell us that all is a myth and that there isn't anything in it, and yet the glorious tidings are ever repeated. "On earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14). And the poor and needy, the sad and sorrowful, are made partakers of it.

So my reader, you need not wait for peace any longer. All you have to do is to enter into it today! You need not try to make peace. It is a false idea; you cannot make it! Peace is already made by Jesus Christ and is now declared unto you! AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

Those our the words of D.L. Moody.......what a wonderful man of God! he was not an educated man.in man's sense (like myself)........he worked as a janitor....(like myself)
Did you know the President Lincoln visited his Sunday School classes? President Lincoln wondered about the wonderful works of Moody and came to see for himself. Did you know that Moody preached on the battle fields during the Civil War? Did you know that his home and Church were destroyed during the great Chicago fire?

To close today.....I also share with you that for the first time in 2 weeks I was able to talk to my Uncle Joe. Now many of you who have read the CUP for years know that Uncle Joe is like my Dad. He has not been doing well for the last 2 weeks. He will be 94 this week. Please keep him in your prayers....I was able to read scripture to him yesterday and some of Moody's writings! Joe LOVED IT!

There are so many ways to Minister now......PRAISE GOD!!! Radio, TV, Phone, texting, twitter, blogs, web sites, email, phone, face to face.....etc.......let us use this technology for GOD!!!!! Let us fulfill the GREAT COMMISSION!

Now how about this ending........from Victor. Pastor Jim and Margaret are the grandparents of Isabella.......

Here's a link to a video of Isabella singing "Silent Night" today at her school's Christmas program. We're very proud and thankful for our little songbird!

Let us pray........Lord thank you for all the songbirds like Isabella......all our Children........let us be bold in proclaiming Your truth! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Quick CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

"The Church is to be neither the master nor the servant of the state, but it's conscience." Martin Luther King Jr.

My prayer is that we will never forget that...........

Don't observe Christmas. Experience it! "May you experience the love of Christ..." Eph3:19(NLT) From Rick Warren

God never does only one thing. In everything he does he is doing thousands of things. Of these we know perhaps half a dozen. Pastor John Piper

Merry Christmas!

Have not been able to send a CUP for two days AOL has been down. Thank you all who responded to the Test.......Merry said I passed! Did I get the usual C plus? Mrs Fett always gave me a C plus! LOL

Here is our Christmas Miracle........We have been praying for Nancy.here is an update.......

Well, miracles abound - Nancy is coming home TODAY! She was evaluated by her rehab team yesterday and they all agree that she is ready to resume life at home. Her spirits are soaring and she is doing incredibly well considering she had brain surgery two weeks ago yesterday. Many, many thanks to all of you who have prayed, sent good wishes and white light, and called upon every positive resource you have on Nancy's behalf. It worked. I do believe she will make a total recovery. Special thanks also to our BubbaGirl prayer warriors who were with me on surgery day reading scripture and praying, as well as those of you who were there in spirit. Your love and support for both Nancy and me during this time has been invaluable. Words cannot express what it has meant. Just know that I, and I speak for Nancy as well, will always be here for you at any time, hands down, no questions asked. Your friendship is truly a gift.

I pray for God's peace and blessings this Christmas season for each of you.

Love, Mary

Also my dear, dear friends my prayer is that we will all have such Godly discernment in the coming days........Let us pray for the Holy Spirit to bring us Godly discernment.......

What Is Spiritual Discernment?
Spiritual discernment: calling on the Holy Spirit to lead or give direction on a matter. It is how the Spirit shows the church or its people what God wants

We are living in a society of My Discernment......not God's Discernment

It is so lacking today....many have forgotten............It is not preached on anymore.......

Pray for Spiritual Discernment today........Look at what is happening to our country..to our Government.....pray for God's will to be done in your life.......Give all of yourself to God.

Big day in the Moede family today Gretchen graduates from the University of New Mexico! Praise God! We give thanks for Gretchen!

All the kids, Lord willing should be home for Christmas......

Happy Birthday to Tom Branch! We love you!

Gotta run thanks for the quick cup.........

Noon Time CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

How about a quick noon time CUP..........

Let your concerns today be about cultivating a calm and quiet soul as you trust your Heavenly Father with the “profound” matters of life. David Jeremiah

From a Church Marquee: Christmas is the story that can rewrite yours! From the Ambassador Team

and this.........

Oral Roberts passed away yesterday and he was appreciated by many who loved his gift for preaching the word.......My Uncle Joe has always told me that God will give you the words to speak..here is what Oral Roberts had to say.......

He credited his oratorical skills to his faith, saying: "I become anointed with God's word, and the spirit of the Lord builds up in me like a coiled spring. By the time I'm ready to go on, my mind is razor-sharp. I know exactly what I'm going to say and I'm feeling like a lion."

Love that energy for God!

Tuesday Cup with Dewey KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM family,

I consider it a HUGE blessing to be able to share with you each day from the CUP!

I also consider it such a HUGE blessing when others share from their heart!

I just got done emptying my heart out in a newspaper column for the Windom Newspaper www.windomnews.com

I just pray it is good enough for Dave, Rahn and Folks. I consider it such a blessing to be able to share in their Pastor's column. My first venture into newspaper! Dave and Rahn have been so patient with me.... as being an old radio guy.....sometimes I don't know when to stop talking or writing!

It just hit me.....I don't know if Dave or Rahn will remember this..but my Dad used to write Sports for the Citizen back in the 60's. So thank you Dave and Rahn for this Christmas present.the opportunity to give back to my hometown and follow in the footsteps of my Dad and Mom.

I continue to be blown away by the blessing of the LORD!!!

It's like I see EXPLOSIONS OF BLESSINGS happening all over! WOW!

I am just trying not do anything stupid......came close yesterday!

Here is another blessing.from Karen Rowe......as she goes about her days.....she shares this with us......How many of you can relate to Karen and what she is going through?

Dewey, If you sense that this will encourage someone, please post this. God is so good to us and quite frankly, this world is hard to live in sometimes. We need to know that we are not alone in our struggles! So I share in mine. I just thank God that I know HIM well enough to patiently endure and that I trust HIM enough to obey! CUZ I know how beautiful life can be when we just trust and obey! So I share hoping to encourage someone to read the Bible, talk to God and allow Jesus to shine God's light on the very things that we can't see that hinder our ability to live the VERY life that Jesus died to give us!

Last night I told my husband that God never tires of fixing us, BUT I DO. So once again, God is teaching me about me and what I need to improve on IN me...This time I feel like a tube of toothpaste being squeezed almost empty...to me not sure that last little bit in the tube is worth bothering, BUT apparently God wants a pure heart in all areas...

I share because it's tough and we all go through these things. When we feel like we are spiritually/emotionally/physically struggling...remember Jesus..."remain in me and I will remain in you" by remaining in LOVE we are remaining in Jesus..."Patient, Kind, NOT envy or boast, or proud or rude or self-seeking...it is not easily angered...it keeps no record of wrongs. ...does not delight in evil but REJOICES WITH THE TRUTH. It always protects, trusts hopes and always perseveres. And when we remain in ALL OF these qualifications...LOVE never fails!

Perhaps someone is feeling distance to God...kind of like I experienced yesterday??? God hadn't gone anywhere...I had something that I was allowing to grow in my heart that was creating distance between me and God. Last night, I ran through the qualifications that meet God's standard of love and with one particular person, I fell short on a few of them. So now I need to deal with allowing Jesus to perfect my heart because alone we are powerless against things that come against us...BUT with Christ, I can remember that I CAN do all things through Christ who gives me strength and wisdom! I can be better! I can change!

Have a blessed day...may it be good and if not; may we experience the day with God's grace!

Love In Christ,
Karen Rowe

PS...I feel God's Spirit grow in me just by admitting this defect in my heart. When we admit that we have an issue, that admission opens the door for God.
When we try to run from or hide an issue, that opens the door for Satan! Satan will encourage the very thing that keeps us down...with half truths...we may be justified, but not the judge;
Satan may even convince us that we have truly forgiven, but in looking deep down...Are we keeping a record of wrongs toward another? We may think that we are not proud, but is pride standing in the way of opening our heart...?

God is not only great...God is good!

Let us pray.......

Lord, Thank you for all those who open up for YOU! Who share You with others! Let us be bold in our faith! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

POWERFUL PRAYER KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family..............

When you take a breath and exhale in sobs, fall against the chest of Jesus. He will hold you up till you can breathe again. Pastor John Piper

God will give you the insight to handle vast and perplexing problems. Chuck Swindoll

WOW! WOW! HOW POWERFUL PRAYER IS!!!

We received so many prayers right back to Sharon and I when we prayed.........

Lord, We pray for an immediate outpouring of Your Holy Spirit...........

Sharon and I were blessed so much from those of you that emailed back quickly praying for us and everyone here at the CUP and KKIM! let us continue to pray for each other and our families! An amazing response. You are all so prayerful!

The day was an amazing day at KKIM.....So many powerful messages were delivered...Ben Lucero President and Owner of Indigo Mortgage shared his testimony on Dewey's Daily Cup, one of the most powerful testimonies I have ever heard! We will play that again sometime, Lord willing.

It is such an AWESOME blessing to have a Radio Ministry where the Word of God can move.........

By the way Ben heard from many of you after the program by email and phone. www.indigomortgage.net

Lord, We pray for an immediate outpouring of Your Holy Spirit..........

Then Sandy emails me this.........an update on Nancy.........

Dewey,
Anyone who doesn't believe in miracles, stop reading right now! Nancy WALKED today, with help, yes, but was able to get out of bed, sit in a wheelchair, walk down the hall, and go to the bathroom. The squeeze from her left hand almost crushed my fingers. Her stitches were removed and her swelling is gone. Her catheter was also removed.
She is beginning to look like the old Nancy, sound like the old Nancy, and yes, act like the old Nancy. She was taken to inpatient rehab this afternoon and is raring to start the recovery process tomorrow. Her enthusiasm and determination are inspiring.
God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for this miracle - thanks to all your prayers! You made it happen.
Sandy Harrington
Let us continue to pray........
Let us continue to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
It takes people like Ben to share their testimony to move others
closer to the Lord.
Now let us hear from John Robb of the International Prayer Council...........
“God delights to respond to daring prayer. He encourages us to ask as freely for the impossible as for the possible, since to Him all difficulties are the same size- less than Himself.” – J.O. Sanders
“No one accomplishes so much in so little time as when he or she is praying… If only one believer with total faith rises up, the history of the world will be changed.” – A.E. McAdam

Dear Friends,
Jesus urged his disciples not to allow themselves to be deceived by false appearances. He told us to be alert and watchful in prayer. Both globally and nationally, major things are happening that could result in a move towards tyranny and oppression. We need to be awake and discerning because the prince of this world ceaselessly is trying to advance his dark agenda to deceive and destroy human beings, made in the image of God. Theologian Walter Wink, who made an extensive study of the principalities and powers in his trilogy, came to the conclusion that the nature of the demonic is getting human life under its control. He coined the phrase “domination system” to describe how spiritual evil can work through ideological and political means to enslave people with false thinking and wrong actions that ultimately prove to be destructive to human life and wellbeing. The “isms” of the last century are proof positive that this can happen.

The current Copenhagen climate change congress which continues this week could also become a case in point. In spite of tens of thousands of scientists who question the factual basis of global warming and its harm of the planet, representatives of almost 200 nations are right now trying to agree on a global treaty to regulate greenhouse emissions. Some who know far more about this than I have warned that such a treaty, if it is agreed on, will undermine national sovereignty and take us towards world government, clothed in the altruistic guise of “saving Earth”. Protecting the environment is one thing we can all endorse, but a tyrannical concentration of power in the hands of faceless international bureaucrats that destroys fundamental human freedoms is another thing. Let’s pray for wisdom, uprightness, honesty and that no deceptive and destructive agreements will be adopted.

In the United States, the acrimonious debate over healthcare has some of the same features. We as Christians need to look behind Democrat or Republican labels and discern what is happening. Genuine reform which truly improves the delivery and quality of medical care is something everyone should endorse, but the concentration of greater power in the hands of the government along with the reckless ballooning of an already astronomical national deficit is something we should pray will not happen. Let’s pray for the US Congress and Obama administration to do what is right for the American people, not turn this country into a socialist bureaucracy that dominates our lives from cradle to the grave.

A final prayer concern is one that I have written to you about repeatedly. Please keep the ongoing conflict of Pakistan and Afghanistan with the Taliban militants in your prayers. This is a war that we and our allies cannot afford to lose, or the whole world will be deeply affected for evil, not for good. Pray for wisdom and effective strategy on the part of the Pakistani and NATO commanders and for victory after victory until the Taliban themselves lose confidence in their cause, give up their weapons and go back to their families. May many of them encounter Jesus Christ and become avid followers of Him as has happened with other jihadists elsewhere.

Thanks for your partnership in prayer this past year. It is amazing how quickly the seasons turn as we age and now it is Christmas again and the time to share this season’s greetings with you. My family and I are grateful to the Lord for another year of life with both its ups and downs. Based on many past experiences, we are convinced that He will be faithful even in those times when we doubt and fear, especially in the midst of the severe crisis of confidence in which our nation and many other nations are passing. Economically, politically, culturally and even spiritually- things seem to be in worrying decline in so many places. The Christmas story reassuringly reminds us that God is vitally interested in this planet and will not abandon us to our own wrong-headed, often doomed attempts to save ourselves. Because of Christ’s birth and presence with those who open their hearts to Him, isn’t it great that we can be hopeful no matter how bleak things look for our world? “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope…” (Romans 15:13). This is a good word for us at Christmas 2009!

We send our love, greetings and prayers that you will be blessed and encouraged during this Christmas season and throughout the coming year.

Warmly,
John (and Lori) Robb

Thank you John.........

Let us pray......

Lord, in Your Word David pens......How precious it is Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can't even count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me. And when I awaken in the morning, You are still thinking of me!Lord we pray for an immediate outpouring of Your Holy Spirit....... We PRAISE YOU OH, LORD......we give You thanks! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

A Quick Cup KKIM/DDC

Roll back the rock of anger and meanness.......... and fear will crawl out from underneath.

Thursday, December 10, 2009

ps from Dewey

The mark of the Holy Spirit in a man's life is that he has gone to his own funeral and thought of himself never enters.

Have you gone to your funeral?

What's going on here Cup??? KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

For those in Ministry look more to God than humankind for affirmation. If I waited on phone calls and emails of approval for what I do......I never would move or would be so mixed up. Look to God, surround yourself with Godly men and women to help guide you.....and then CHARGE!

We were placed upon this earth for this time........

My Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus Acts 20:24

Very confusing time's in the Church a few examples in the news...........

The presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Mark Hanson , says that the Bible isn't the last word on homosexuality.

The Episcopal Church, Presbyterian Church USA, United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church signed a letter that placed them on record supporting taxpayer funding of abortions. They signed off on a letter expressing opposition to the Nelson Amendment that would have removed abortion funding from the Senate health care bill.

The United Church of Christ also is supports a petition to the FCC to target conservative radio programming. "Hate" over the airwaves they call it. This includes Christian radio stations.

This makes my head swim........Need to keep my eye's fixed on Jesus and stand firm in HIS truth. I will not hide, I will not bend on the TRUITH of GOD! Many so called Christians are putting their heads in the sand and pretending this is not happening. Stand firm my friends.

Much of the Church is lost.....Much of the Church has watered down the Word of Jesus Christ.

This following posting is so timely....only God has this kind of timing.........This is from Pastor Leonard Navarre.......

Yes to Jesus, No to the “Church”

“I have a lot of faith, but no religion”. So says a young man who grew up in the Lutheran church. When asked about what it is that turns him off, Luke says, “no one wanted to talk about what we “do” in church. We just went through the same old rituals every time. It didn’t seem to me that what we did made any difference in our everyday lives.”

Even though feels alone, those who proclaim a “no religion” bent, could grow to 25 per cent of the U.S. population. According to Trinity College’s American Religious Identification Survey this growth will within the next 20 years. This group of “no religion” has been named the “Nones” and 22 per cent of Americans aged 18-29 number among the Nones.

Even in Canada the trend is the same as in America. The Canadian National Post reports that Canada’s mainline churches mirror their American counterparts dwindling attendance. Father Daniel Berniquez, Episcopal vicar of the French sector of Ottawa archdiocese, says, “churches that once drew 400 to 500 people now attract about 40”.

So what gives? Why are so many dropping out of “church” but still identify with a strong spiritual desire and even say that they are “spiritual” but not “religious”.

Dan Kimball in his book, “They like Jesus but not the church” says “we are living in an increasing “post-Christian” culture. In our ever increasing post-Christian culture, the influences and values shaping emerging generations are no longer aligned with Christianity. Emerging generations don’t have a basic understanding of the story of the Bible, and they don’t have one God as the predominant God to worship. Rather, they are open to all types of faiths, including new mixtures of religions.”

Well, what are these “nones” saying about the “church”. There are several key issues that need to be addressed.

First, they felt that organized religion had a political agenda. Madonna once said, “I don’t think there is any wrong with the teachings of Jesus but I am very suspicious of organized religion”. Kimball says “you might think that if emerging generations believed in God, they should naturally come to a church to seek him. But we have to remember that more and more individuals in our emerging culture have not grown up in a church.”

We must then ask the question what is the barrier or the drawback to seeking and finding God in church. Well, the common answer is they have negative impressions and stereotypes of Christians and then churches. It looks to me that “the church” is becoming the last place people are equating with spirituality. They are feeling that “the church” is trying to control and dictate how they are to worship and pray. Now let me set the record straight here. Those who avoid “the church” are not opposed to ritual as long as it is not “lifeless, dull and routine quenching the beauty and naturalness” of their worship and prayers. They strongly desire to grow spiritually and participate in the worship experience.

One side note question here. What are we FOR? It seems to me that over and over again I am hearing all the things we are against. Those outside “the church” looking in are noticing what we are opposed to politically but asking themselves, where’s your spiritual vision and goals? “The church” would benefit greatly if we would say we passionately love God, love each other and love our communities along with demonstrating those truths.

To again quote Kimball, “we should be known as being followers of Jesus, serving Him, serving each other and serving our communities. We should be known for helping the needy, looking out for the marginalized, and being good neighbors.”

My questions: If someone watched your walk with the Lord what impression would you give them as to “the church”? How do you view those who are outside the walls of “the church”? What is “the church” doing to reach out with compassion and love to those who “love Jesus, but hate the church”? When’s the last time we hung out at the coffee shop and engage others in a Jesus conversation? When’s the last time we gathered up “non church” friends and went to a movie or out to eat? What is our attitude to those who are outside of “our brand or persuasion”?

Friends, all is not lost but we must be aware of this new “emerging generation”. Many don’t have a clue as to what Jesus did, what the Bible says or how to act “in church”. In our congregation, we have families who have never heard the stories of the Bible such as Jonah, Noah and Saul of Tarsus. We have to become more aware of this want of spirituality but the don’t want of “the church”.

Let’s look at their want list. Here’s what they seek:

· I wish church was not just a sermon or lecture but a discussion.

· I wish church would respect my intelligence.

· I wish church was not just about the building.

· I wish church were less programmed and allowed time to think and pray.

· I wish the church were loving place to others and not just to the “insiders”.

· I wished the church would truly care for the poor and the environment.

· I wish the church would teach more about Jesus, you know, the “red letter” teachings from the Bible. – “They Like Jesus but not the Church” by Dan Kimball

Here’s another suggestion. “The Church” needs to correct the definition of “the church”. We must present the truth that “the church” is not buildings or programs or curriculum. “The church” is the body of Jesus Christ. It is a living, breathing, organism. It is a fellowship of every person who has claimed Jesus as their Savior. It is not made of brick, mortar, stucco or stain glass. It is made up of every believer world-wide who has enlisted in the army of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. “The church” of our Lord Jesus Christ crosses every barrier whether, geographical, cultural or denominational.

While we must stand firm on our Biblical beliefs and teachings and not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, we stand ready to present the true Biblical picture of “the church”. We must be ready to change our standard operations procedures. There is no set way in “doing church”. It is imperative that we engage the “nomes” in addressing their negative stereotypes of “the church”. Plus, we must as “the church” change our vocabulary. For instance, we don’t “go to church” we are the church; we don’t “have church” we have praise, Bible study and an assembly. There is no such thing as Baptist church, Methodist church, Catholic Church; the church is the entire body of believers who claim Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives and encompasses every person who has accepted the Lordship of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. When we are driving down the street we must avoid calling the building on the corner “the church”. This confusion over “the church” is reflected in why the 18 to 29 year olds are struggling with “they like Jesus but not the church.” They have no idea as to the definition of “church” as expressed in the Word of God, the Bible.

In conclusion, friends, may we pray that each and every believer will engage in the conversation of presenting true Biblical truths to our families, our communities and our culture.

May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the evidences of the Holy Spirit and the love of almighty God be exampled in every believer. Amen.

Dear KKIM Family,

Oh my Dear, Dear Friends........Let us not be discouraged.......I am hearing from so many that are discouraged........We are here to hold each other up in these times! If we do not help each other........what will come of us?

Let us not be discouraged, for by grace we are on the way and we will not rest till we reach the goal! Oh, for grace so to live to God in Christ Jesus that the world will never be able to answer the argument of our lives! Charles Spurgeon

As Nora Espinoza tells me, "Don't look to the left, Don't look to the right........keep looking right down the center toward Jesus Christ."

There are so many distractions in life.......more than ever.......If we are not grounded in Jesus Christ we will float away in misery!

So many things to take our hearts and minds away from Jesus Christ......Our only hope is in HIM

Do not my Dear, Dear Friends be swept away in discouragement!

Are you running around like a chicken with your head cut off? LOL!

When under stress you may make decisions that may come back to bite you! Pray, Pray like never before........The Lord will answer you! Listen!

Seek fellowship with other Brothers and Sisters!

last night I was bathing in the Love of Christ.........I am a blessed man with my God, and my family and my works for HIM! I get to work in Ministry everyday! WOW!!!

Here is an update from Sandy on Nancy..........

Just wanted to give you news about Nancy's progress. She has had rough days since surgery with seizures and paralysis on the left. She has also experienced excruciating pain. As of yesterday, her condition seemed to improve. She was very talkative (wanting to make cell phone calls) and anxious to get out of bed (not possible at this time). Her spirit is willing and her brain is fully engaged, but her body is not cooperating quite yet. She was able to move her left arm, hand, leg, and foot yesterday which is huge progress. Please continue to pray for Nancy as she will need all the support and prayers we can muster.

Sandy Harrington

Also thank you for all your prayers for Sharon's Dad Roger as he is in Hospice care.

Please pray for Juliet Tross as she has not been feeling well.

Please continue to pray for Pastor Leonard Navarre's trip to India in Jan.

Have you caught our TV program, "OPEN DOORS", on Ch 32 KAZQ Saturdays at 6pm and Sundays at 7pm? taped two segments with Pastor Jim Montoya and Pastor Leonard Navarre yesterday! PRAISE GOD for this Ministry!

WOW! Look what's happening in Valencia County!!!

Good morning Dewey!
I wanted to let you know that there is a group of intercessors meeting in my home in Bosque Farms once a month.....every first Sunday, 5-7pm. There were 9 of us this past Sunday night who met in a mighty and powerful time with the Lord for break through's to sweep through those living in Valencia County. We broke through and proclaimed victory in areas of addiction, abuse, poverty, oppression. We cut the tentacles of low self-esteem, insecurity, and hatred of women. We are standing and speaking forth the awesome Word of God and believing that "His Word goes out and does not come back void, but accomplishes that which He purposes!" We are meeting under the covering of Global Destiny Ministries with Pastors Bill and Monica Ruhl. We invite others to join us who have a heart and burden to see victory and break through's in the lives and families of those living particularly in Valencia County.
Blessings,
Kitty Neal
(Son Broadcasting Network)

If you want more information just email me and I will get you in contact with Kitty!

I Praise God for our relationship with Son Broadcasting and also Ch. 32 and 36! God has brought us all together!

My lovely wife Sharon wanted to share this with you........

Something for people to think about during the holidays.

1 Corinthians 13 ("the love chapter") - Christmas version
If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love to my family, I'm just another decorator.

If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals, and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family, I'm just another cook.

If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home, and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family, it profits me nothing.

If I trim the tree with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties, and sing in the choir's cantata, but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.

Love stops the cooking to hug the child.

Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband.

Love is kind, though harried and tired.

Love doesn't envy another's home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.

Love doesn't yell at the kids to get out of the way, but is thankful they are there to be in the way.

Love doesn't give only to those who are able to give in return, but rejoices in giving to those who can't.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails.

Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust...

But giving the gift of love will endure.

You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.

Let us pray...........

Dear Lord, Let us remember the reason for the season! We pray Lord that we keep our eye's fixed on you and not the distractions that Satan put's in front of us. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

The Great Awakening in America?? KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

From Max Lucado........

Journey in the company of the Holy Spirit, who "will teach you everything & will remind you of everything I have told you" John 14:26

Change is a necessary part of God's strategy. To use us to change the world, he alters our assignments.

How are you today?

We praise God we are together today!

I am hearing so many good reports of God's people coming together for HIS GLORY!

Pastor Massimo Lorenzini of First Baptist Church of Espanola reports that they had a Great Praise Night, last night, with two sister Church's in Espanola. Pastor says it was a taste of heaven!

Pastor Leonard Navarre of Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood says the Church is growing.... all time attendance.... and the Church is going ahead with plans to build a new auditorium.

Pastor Mark Scales of Heights Christian Church says that Sunday was a Tremendous Day of Praise and Worship at Heights!

Pastor Jim Montoya of Church of God in Los Lunas continues the outreach in the area on Sunday nights with services and English classes! Reaching many new people, one by one!

I really believe the Lord is paving the runway for us to hold a revival here in New Mexico..it's already underway!

I love hearing from area Pastors on PRAISE NOTES!!! If you have a PRAISE NOTE send it our way! You really are missing out of you are not following us on Twitter! Heard from Peter of KOB news yesterday......KKIM is having an impact with our news coverage. PRAISE GOD! Join us on Twitter now to keep current with prayer needs, news, etc...... www.twitter.com/radiodewey It is FREE!

For months now we have been talking about Revival.......Over a year ago we were involved in the Revival in Santa Fe with Pastor Kyle Martin. Kyle is heard on KKIIM Saturdays at 1:05 and Sundays at 8:30am. Starting in 2010 Kyle will be heard 7 days a week, stay tuned for details.

Anyhow.......As I mentioned above, the Lord is preparing New Mexico for a revival......we have been talking about it on KKIM and on Open Doors our TV program Sat's at 6pm and Sundays at 7pm on KAZQ TV.

I believe the Body of Christ is coming together here in New Mexico......Walls are coming down.......we are stressing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ........Reading God's word.......spending at least an hour a day with God.......listening.......praying..reading HIS word........

Jeffery L. Sheler writes in his book on the Life of Rick Warren........

In a sense, the history of evangelicalism has been an almost continuous process of revival and reform, of people carving out and maintaining a religious identity separate from some other group or set of beliefs that they considered to be out of synch with a proper understanding of Scripture. It is a corrective impulse that goes back to the start of the Protestant Reformation in the early 1500's and to even earlier purifying movements in Christian history.

The spark that ignited the Reformation was Martin Luther's personal "rediscovery of the Gospel"- his embrace of essential New Testament teachings that he believed had been obscured in the Roman catholic Church. In nailing his Ninety-five Theses to the cathedral door at Wittenberg, Luther had staked out the revolutionary view that God's grace was the sole basis of salvation for the sinner and was to be appropriated through faith alone (sola fide), unmediated by the Church, as revealed through the Bible alone (sola scriptura), the only infallible authority on matters of faith. Those central tenets of the Reformation who also would become key elements of modern evangelical belief.

Over the next two centuries, the theological uprising launched by Luther would sweep across Europe, spawning new movements and denominations that increasingly emphasized personal piety and individual accountability over Church tradition and authority. In American Colonies, that egalitarian message would be fanned into a roaring fire in the 1740's by the revivalist preaching of Methodism founder John Wesley, Congregationalist Minister Jonathan Edwards, and Anglican evangelist George Whitefield-----key figures in what would become known as the Great Awakening. In Church's and meetings halls and in outdoor gatherings from New England to Georgia, seekers by the thousands enthusiastically cam to embrace a populist gospel that emphasized the necessity of the "new birth"-----the belief that salvation was a gift from God, to be received with assurance by repenting of sin and placing one's faith in Jesus Christ as savior, RATHER THAN BY ENGAGING IN CHURCH RITUALS!

The Great Awakening would have a lasting impact on evangelism and on the course of Christianity in the United States of America!

ARE YOU READY???? Sharon and I are ready for Another GREAT, GREAT, GREAT AWAKENING!!! It is the only thing that will save these United States of America........a GREAT AWAKENING IS NEEDED IN OUR LORD!!!

Let me hear from you!

Last week we reported on the 108 yr old WWI vet who testified before Congress on a monument........Today we remember those who fought at Pearl Harbor.......My dad, Marine Sgt. Wally Moede was on the scene after the attack......he was just coming in to Pearl Harbor.........
PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii - Retired firefighter Ed Johann was a teenage apprentice seaman on Dec. 7, 1941, when he spotted Japanese planes coming in over Pearl Harbor.

He thought they were U.S. aircraft conducting drills until explosions and flames erupted from stricken ships in the harbor.

Then came screams of sailors; the stench of burning oil and flesh.

The 86-year-old Oregonian is due to return Monday to Pearl Harbor for the first time since World War II to attend a ceremony marking the 68th anniversary of the attack.

"I really don't know how I'm going to handle it," said Johann, from his home in Oregon. "When I think about it, all I have is unpleasantness. I'm sure it's not like that now."

Then, he and two other sailors were waiting to ferry passengers on a small boat to and from the USS Solace, a hospital ship that was moored in Pearl Harbor.

Johann's motor launcher boat rushed to the USS Arizona, which was hit by several bombs, one of which struck her forward ammunition magazines and set off a massive explosion. Already fueled and manned when the attack began, their 30-foot boat was the first rescue vessel to arrive at the scene.

They found the water littered with people — some wounded, some dead, some unharmed. Many were covered in the leaking oil from the ships.

They loaded as many as they could and delivered them to the hospital ship before returning to the USS West Virginia for more.

"As we're pulling them out of the water, a lot of times the skin would come right off the arm," Johann said. "They would just be black with oil, except maybe you could see the white of their eyes."

The planes kept coming. Dive-bombers plunged out of the sky, dropping bombs and strafing the water and ships with machine gun fire before roaring back up for another round. Torpedo bombers flew in level to drop their submersible weapons for underwater assaults.

The burning, sinking vessels at first lowered men into Johann's makeshift rescue boat. But some sailors started to panic and jump into their small ship, forcing it to pull away so it wouldn't sink too.

"Some of the sailors would be like in shock and some of 'em would be like going out of control, screaming and hollering," Johann said.

The next morning — after nervously worrying the Japanese planes would return — Johann's boat unloaded men from the Solace who failed to make it through the night and delivered them to land.

"We had them stacked like cordwood in our boat. The open end where the feet was sticking out was these big brown tags that said 'unknown, unknown,'" Johann said. The military hadn't adopted dog tags yet and many couldn't be identified.

The attack sank four U.S. battleships and destroyed 188 U.S. planes. Another four battleships were damaged, along with three cruisers and three destroyers.

More than 2,200 sailors, Marines and soldiers were killed.

"We didn't survive by any skill," Johann said of his boat. "It was just luck, pure luck. Because all we were concentrating on was trying to save people, and not save ourselves."

Johann served the rest of the war on the USS Wright, a seaplane tender. After 1945, he returned to California where he worked in sawmills before moving to Portland, Ore. where he spent 28 years as a firefighter. He retired to a beach cottage in Lincoln City and where he served on the city council, helping build hiking trails and campaigning against domestic violence.

Every Fourth of July, he goes to bed early to avoid the fireworks because they remind him of Pearl Harbor's explosions. Even so, the blasts keep him awake.

But the horrors he went through also led him to become a firefighter.

"I think I had it in my mind," Johann said, "I wanted to help people."

For years, Johann said he wouldn't go to the annual observance in Hawaii in honor of those killed in the attack. But now that he's 86, it seemed liked a good idea.

"If I'm ever going to do anything like that I'd better do it now," Johann said. His son, who lives on Maui, will accompany him.

It is very sad to see our greatest generation leave us........many heroes........Let us RISE........LET US BECOME A GREAT GENERATION WITH GREAT AWAKENING.........IT IS UP TO YOU AND ME!!!!!

WILL YOU JOIN US??????????

Let us pray..........

Lord, let your people AWAKE! Let us rise up for YOU! Let us gather together in a GREAT AWAKENING FOR YOU, FATHER! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Baby Angel II KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Peace and Strength of the Lord be with you and yours!

I am so thankful we are together this morning and get to serve the Lord together!

Please pray for Sharon's Dad, Roger Altman, he has been put into Hospice care now in Elk Grove California. Please pray for Sharon and her family during this time. I believe Roger will be going home soon. We were on the phone last night with Sharon's Mom.

Here are some thoughts from Rick Warren.........

As followers of Christ we're prohibited from hating anyone or hurting back. Let it go & you will grow.

When Beecher 1st shared the idea of God with Helen Keller she said "I always knew he was there.I just didnt know his name."

Last night on NM News and Views a very moving program. We devoted the program to the Baby Girl that was shot to death by her Father here in Albuquerque.( We are calling her Baby Angel II as the first Baby that was killed this year in Albuquerque by his Mother was given the name Baby Angel by our loving community) Pastor Randy Walquist of Immanuel Lutheran and Pastor Mark Tross joined me and the Lord led the conversation. We prayed......we cried........and then read this very moving email by State Rep. Janice E Arnold Jones......what words Janice writes.....We also received other responses that we post below.......This CUP is dedicated to baby Angel II........If you did not catch NM News and Views yesterday..you missed the God given emotion of the message He sent us to give out to His people......We are moving so quickly from one tragedy to the next........let us slow down and reflect and pray.........

Dewey:

When I heard the account of this young man killing his infant daughter, my response was like yours: my heart broke and my eyes filled with tears.

What can we do to change acts such as this?

Would the death penalty have prevented this act? No.
Would increased prison time have prevented this act? No.
Did increased sex education in our schools prevent this act? No.
Did increased education about sexual orientation prevent this act? No.
Did any of the available parenting programs prevent this act? No.
Did a free love, no need for marriage, attitude prevent this act? No.
Did any of the State sponsored programs regarding waiting to engage in sexual relations prevent this act? No.
Did any of our faith-based abstinence programs prevent this act? No.
Were family or friends able to prevent this act? No

My point is, the question we are all asking is: what can we do for or about young people who are engaging in sex too early, who bring a child into this world before they are mature enough to focus on the needs of the child rather than their own desires, or who bring a child into the world before they are mature enough to provide for themselves and their child?

I am absolutely certain that Government is not a substitute for a loving parent, nor can Government create, train, or enforce loving parenting.

In trying to grasp this horrific act, the ONLY place I find guidance is in prayer and the scriptures.

It is on me. It is on us.

Gayla Reid, my Bible Study Fellowship leader in 1998, would ask at times such as these: Do MY attitudes, actions and reactions reflect what I SAY I BELIEVE about Jesus Christ?

While no single one of us may have prevented this act, our individual attitudes, actions and reactions are like the circles created by a pebble dropped in water -- the circles embrace so much more than we know. Perhaps, with more pebbles, this young man's heart and self-control might have been touched preventing the taking of an innocent child, baby daughter's life.

Many days I wish, I want, to know and understand God's plan for us and the schedule! In the end, it is faith in God that makes it possible to seek his will, and the next step. Today, I pray to be a pebble and that my attitudes, actions and reactions reflect what I SAY I BELIEVE about Jesus Christ.

I am certain that I am missing much of the obvious. Perhaps your listeners could weigh in on what individuals of faith can do today, and in the future, that would help to prevent such horrific acts.

Always appreciate your service.

In love,

Janice E. Arnold-Jones
Representative, House District 24

WOW is right my brother.
Our friend Janice E. Arnold Jones has hit the nail on the head. It is each one of us "walking the walk". It is each one of us doing our best to not only have the head knowledge of the Bible but put into action the truths of God's Word. It is up to us to engage our neighbors, our friends, those at the coffee shop, at the grocery store, bank etc. to not only "preach the Word" but live the Word.

Whose responsible? We all are. Every day we must have our "spiritual antenna's" up watching, praying, seeking out those who need friendship and fellowship to introduce them to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment must become our mission and vision. If not us, who? If not now, when?

praying,
Leonard

Dewey,

My heart grieves with yours after reading today's "Very Upsetting" Daily Cup. Such an unspeakable act of evil that is becoming far too common. It's better to pray than talk about it, but I felt led to share with you the lyrics of a song I love by Jason Upton, called "Father of the Fatherless". Print the lyrics out, then click on the link below of a YouTube video of Jason singing the song. Let it comfort your heart as you are reminded of the opposite of today's evil - the perfect love of our Heavenly Father.

Father of the Fatherless - by Jason Upton

I don't know how, to say what I'm feeling.
I don't have words, to write You a song.
But I have this hope and I have this prayer,
and I am believing.
Your words are true.
You never leave us alone.

Father of the fatherless, come down and rescue us.
We need You, we need You again.
Friend of the friendless, come down and visit us.
We need You, we need You again.

How many sons have cried for their fathers?
And how many fathers have cried like a son?
Now every tear saved through the years in memory's bottle
becomes the fine wine, You serve to the children of God.

Dewey,
This is beyond belief, what is going on with People? I pray for all children, that cannot defend themselves.
God bless you,
Brenda

Dewey,
Very sad. But do not let the enemy distract you. He has no authority over
these people or your city. Chris

Pastor Mark Tross has these comments posted at www.mykkim.com under NM News and Views.....he made these comments after last nights program........

Pastor Randy from Immanuel Lutheran Church, whose program airs here every Sunday morning at 9, joined us this afternoon to talk about the tragic death spoken of above (Under Dewey's Daily Cup Heading and the first two stories of the day). He has been on KKIM for over two decades now and the prayers he offered up today tell you why. There's much for us to reflect on and pray about during these trying times, but God Is Faithful & Jesus NEVER Fails! 1 Co. 1:9; 13:13 Read over the Scriptures shared this afternoon and listen to what The Spirit is saying to The Church for Today:

Micah 7:1-7 (NASB)
1 Woe is me! For I am Like the fruit pickers, like the grape gatherers. There is not a cluster of grapes to eat, Or a first-ripe fig which I crave.
2 The godly person has perished from the land, And there is no upright person among men. All of them lie in wait for bloodshed; Each of them hunts the other with a net.
3 Concerning evil, both hands do it well. The prince asks, also the judge, for a bribe, And a great man speaks the desire of his soul; So they weave it together.
4 The best of them is like a briar, The most upright like a thorn hedge. The day when you post your watchmen, Your punishment will come. Then their confusion will occur.
5 Do not trust in a neighbor; Do not have confidence in a friend. From her who lies in your bosom Guard your lips.
6 For son treats father contemptuously, Daughter rises up against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man's enemies are the men of his own household.
7 But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

Luke 12:49-59 (NASB)
49 "I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!
50 "But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!
51 "Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division;
52 for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.
53 "They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."
54 And He was also saying to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming,' and so it turns out.
55 "And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, 'It will be a hot day,' and it turns out that way.
56 "You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?
57 "And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right?
58 "For while you are going with your opponent to appear before the magistrate, on your way there make an effort to settle with him, so that he may not drag you before the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
59 "I say to you, you will not get out of there until you have paid the very last cent."

Galatians 5:19-23 (NASB)
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Many Blessings,
Rev. Mark F. Tross

Let us pray.............

Lord, We pray Lord that this tragedy will bring Your people closer together......that lives will be given to You through Baby Angel II.....We pray for all those involved in this tragedy. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
