Thanks to Pastor Jim Montoya and pastor Larry Moss for all their help during our Radio-A-Thon for Haiti and Africa. Please go to www.mykkim.com and help out in this effort. We need your help please. You can give right on line. Thank you so much on behalf of the starving children. 94% of your gift goes directly to the starving children.

This is an urgent need as things are worse than ever in Haiti.

On Behalf Of Jesus

Posted: 30 Mar 2010 11:01 PM PDT

“This man has done nothing wrong.” Luke 23:41

Finally someone is defending Jesus. Peter fled. The disciples hid. The Jews accused. Pilate washed his hands. Many could have spoken on behalf of Jesus, but none did. Until now.

Kind words from the lips of a thief. He makes his request. “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom” (Luke 23:42).

The Savior turns his heavy head toward the prodigal child and promises, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).

We have this note from my brother Dave Moede of Windom, Minn..........His Mother-in-Law is passing........

My Visit with the Homeless KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Peace and Strength of the Lord be with you and yours!

Many complain, few work and pray toward a solution.

Pray on this...........This is a part of our theme for today.......

Jesus can not light our path, if we stay within the for walls of the church.

I am in awe of what the Lord is doing..........

"Enlarge the place of your tent,

And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare;

Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.

For you shall expand to the right and to the left,

And your descendants will inherit nations.

And make the desolate cities inhabited. Isaiah 54:2-3

This is what the Lord is doing to our Ministry, KKIM, the CUP and at the Los Lunas Church of God.

After hearing last week that more and more folks from Canada are listening to our streaming audio at www.mykkim.com That makes sense as Canada is sure changing......More listeners in Egypt and Africa.

This is all the doings of the Lord........we are just trying not to do anything stupid.

It would be a much better world if more would wake up everyday and make the promise of trying not to do anything stupid! Very simple stuff!

Reading the Word of God each morning and during the day and praying constantly also helps us fight the flesh. That is what we call putting the Armor of God on each day.

I have to share with you a life changing time for me.............

Our Web master here at the CUP, Jannetta LaMort is the Dir of PR at the Albuquerque Rescue Mission. She invited me to take part in the Feet washing at the Mission on Saturday for the homeless, saying. "Dewey we would like you to be one of the Pastor's to Minister to the homeless at this."

We have been asking for donations of socks and shoes for this event. Such a great response from the KKIM family! Thank you!

Some KKIM Listeners traveled over 100 miles to drop of their donations. By the way we are still taking in shoes and socks. They are much needed.

Here are my thoughts on Saturday from my experience at the Albuquerque Rescue Mission........Oh Lord lead my writing here........

I was asking the Lord as I walked up to the door of the Mission to give me the words to say to the homeless

Shame on me..........I have never been to a homeless facility

My brother Daryl was homeless for some 8 years

I was given the duty to take a clip board and paper and write down the name of those who didn't get shoes.........

I took their names and sizes.........

I looked into their eyes.........as they got in line.............

They were so eager for good shoes and clean socks...........

It has been a rough winter here in New Mexico

It broke my heart to hear the stories of these folks........

ages from 23 to 72

some had not been able to clean themselves for weeks......

some were sick.........

some had beer on their breath.........

some just plain hard luck...........

most men that I talked to were either divorced or Vietnam Vet's

I kept thinking...Lord there is such a disconnect with these folks and society

Society in our big homes........big cars...........It is easy to dismiss the homeless as people you cannot help

I prayed with them all..........

some asked for more prayer

some asked for a Bible

I kept asking myself what would you do Jesus?..........

He said to me look them right in the eye and talk and pray with them..........tell them they are loved

I need to tell you today, like I told Sharon I will never be the same after this experience.

I went outside afterwards to leave.........

Across the street were four men sitting on the sidewalk........

I went over to these tough looking men........

They had been barred from the mission they said for bad behavior.......

They were looking over at the mission and those that were getting haircuts, foot washing and shoes and socks.......

I talked to them and they told me their story..........

We prayed together

I just share this story with you.........as we must look inside ourselves.......and check and see if there is a disconnect between ourselves and the poorest of the poor.

Is our Ministry reaching out to these folks and touching them or do we avoid them and just quickly dismiss them as a problem we just do not want to deal with?

Do we continue to build walls up as a Church?....a true Church does not have walls. Why do many Church's spend so much money on facilities? What would Jesus do?

Is Jesus pleased with all the money that is spent on Church buildings?

I would rather put up a HUGE sheet metal building with many, many beds a huge kitchen and showers. I am praying about that.

We need to look inside ourselves......In our Church's.... are we serving ourselves? our needs? or are we expanding our tent and attempting to serve others? Are we doing the Lords Will in all parts of our lives?

I asked myself and prayed to the Lord...........okay now what do I do?

I have given the Mission complete use of KKIM and our web sites to get their messages out

I also am praying about becoming a Chaplin at the Mission.

A major problem in our society is a disconnect between the poor and us

Another major problem is the disconnect between our Government and middle class and poor.

Another disconnect is our politicians and middle class and the poor. Most politicians do not care about the poor and middle class........they will say almost anything to get elected.........most say nothing of substance. Most are wealthy and cannot relate to a lot of us.

I am tired of Politicians who appear at events just to have their picture taken...photo opp's! Or asking me for free announcements for their campaign. I am getting many calls asking for free time!

What can we do?............The Lord has put it on my heart........Read His word..........pray............for His will to be done in your life........Just don't complain......The Lord will tell you what to do if you will listen........walk closer to the Lord.........

Expand your territory.........but you can't do that without the Lord.........It has to be His Will.

Read the verse again at the top of this post Isaiah 54: 2-3

Look inside yourself today and ask the Lord if He is pleased

The other thing that took place this weekend is the movie, "Amish Grace" It was on Lifetime last night. I wrote about it last week. I pray that you were able to watch it!

Could you forgive the killer?

Google.......Lancaster County Amish School shootings............to find out more about this incredible true story of forgiveness.

Many of us are faithful 2 our ideas about Jesus Christ, but how many of us are faithful 2 Jesus Himself? Oswald Chambers........

I have given us all a lot to think and pray about...........

May the Lord be with you all and may you pray about all what I shared this morning with you my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

First the first time since March 3rd I am sleeping the whole night and it seems my allergies are under control. Thank you all for your payers and love. Gretchen and Lars are doing much better also.

Please keep our Radio-A-Thon in your prayers....please pray about taking part for the poorest of the poor........go to www.mykkim.com and find out how you can take part. Our radio-A-Thon starts Tuesday morning and goes through Wed. morning.

I will not forsake you Praise CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,
We have this PRAISE REPORT!!!! PRAISE GOD!!

The Twins are going wonderfully.......

May God Bless the KKIM Radio Ranch and family! We want to thank everyone for their prayers for my brother's precious little twin boys born on March 14. As you will remember the babies were born 3 months premature. Baby " Valdez"
(1 pound 7 ounces) and Baby "Jude (1 pound 13 ounces) are still in the Presbyterian Hospital New Born Intensive Care Unit. They have both improved, God is hearing our prayers. The babies still have a long, long way to go in their development and it is still a minute by minute monitoization, etc. Please continue to pray for their development and progress and that infection will not come against them. They are precious little guys and they really are fighters. I believe God has his hand on both of them. Once again, thank you for all the wonderful prayers, and at this time I ask all the KKIM Family to please continue to pray for them and add "Valdez" and "Jude" onto Your Church prayer list, prayer chains, etc. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! GOD BLESS and with Love, Yvette Griego

Thank you for the update Yvette......We will continue to hold up the Little ones and family to our Almighty Father!

I talked with Nate Hickman yesterday and he is doing much better. He is surrounded by Godly people!

Please keep our Radio-A-Thon for Haiti and Africa in your prayers........go to www.mykkim.com for more details.

I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

I've found a refuge from life's care in Jesus,

I am hiding in His love divine;

He fully understands my soul's deep longing,

And He whispers softly, "Thou art Mine."

I was telling Sharon last night how thankful are I am for the listeners of KKIM.the family of KKIM and the CUP! Last might we heard from Angel Murchison about listeners of KKIM from Egypt, Africa, and Canada.

It seems with the clamp down on the Christian message in Canada we are getting more listeners from there. PRAISE GOD for streaming audio at www.mykkim.com

We give Thanks and Praise to the Lord! For God's Glory Alone!

After yesterdays news that Albuquerque School's may have to cut from 700 to 1200 jobs......the City of Belen is broke, Santa Fe is in budget trouble, Albuquerque City is nearly 50 million in the hole......The state of New Mexico is millions and millions in debt........unemployment continues to climb here in New Mexico......we need to pray that those apart from God, become part of God's family! The answers are in God, not apart from Him.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING" John 15:5

We must be with God, Man is not going to just be able to flip a switch and fix these economic problems......man is just not going to be able to pass legislation and fix these problems........

We must fulfill the Great Commission and bring others to Christ.

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family

Off to the radio ranch now.........have to run the controls!!!

Weekend CUP with you! KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Peace and Strength of our Lord be with you and yours!

I thank the Lord for all the Godly Ministry programs we have on KKIM.........For God's Glory Alone! I give Praise and Thanks to our Lord!

I am here to say to you my dear friends........I see you all having a CUP with me......there is no PANIC in HEAVEN! God is in control......we must seek HIS Will always.

Let your concerns today be about cultivating a calm and quiet soul as you trust your Heavenly Father with the profound matters of life.

My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus, AMEN! AMEN! Acts 20:24

A while back Pastor Alan Hawkins, weekdays at 2pm and 8:05pm and Sat at Noon on KKIM, asked me if ever get down.......yes.......yes.......I do have my down moments......It is good to admit that to our Brothers and Sisters.....When we tell others of our weaknesses, they gain strength......others see that we have challenges also and that we deal with them in a Godly way. I shed tears a lot........I mourn for others......I mourn for the wrongs in this World........I sometimes think we as a Nation have lost our tears....I have to say we don't cry Godly tears enough.

Thanks to you all for dropping of shoes and socks at the KKIM Radio ranch for Albuquerque Rescue Mission! Jannetta made a pick up yesterday and then more and more of you dropped of more! Thank you so much! We are located at 4125 Carlisle, Ranch hours Monday thru Friday 8 to 5. God Bless you....we had one very sweet lady drive all the way down from Abiqu!!

Please pray for our Radio-A-Thon next Tuesday and Wed with Feeding The Nations and our dear friend, Tom Lewis. Go to www.mykkim.com and pray about taking part in our efforts.

From the Book Masterlife...........

Jesus called His disciples to "come follow me" (Matt: 4:19) More than anything else, Jesus wanted to spend time with His disciples. He knew that being with Him in all kinds of situations would equip the disciples to do which He had chosen them. They soon learned the truth of Jesus declaration, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"
John 15:5

I am just going to leave it there with you.......That is such a powerful reading......As Dad used to say, that is where the rubber hits the road........apart from me you can do nothing........That my friends is why our Country is in such rough shape as many are apart from Christ. God will not bless our nation until we have a Revival. God will not bless our nation until we as a nation seek forgiveness. It is not complicated, it is very simple to see why we are in the mess we are in as a Country........apart from me you can do nothing.

Apart from God we can do nothing!

Let me leave you with these thoughts to think and pray about this weekend.........

Do you have any priority above Christ?

Has Christ called you to a deeper commitment than you have been willing to make?

What would you need to remove from your life in order to give Christ first place?

Do you feel close to the Lord throughout the day? Do you sense His leadership in your life?

What are you currently doing to develop your relationship with Christ?

These Questions are from the book Masterlife,

Watch our TV program with myself, pastor Jim Montoya and Pastor Leonard Navarre this weekend on KAZQ Ch 32 Comcast 22 Sat at 6pm Sun at 7pm and we talk about the lessons from the book Masterlife.

Let us pray.............

Lord, We ask for forgiveness for our Country......We are nothing without You.......apart from You we can do nothing.......In Jesus name AMEN!

In the Love of Christ.........Dewey Sharon and family

PS please pray for Lars he is now ill, Gretchen is recovering........are family has been hit by the crud big time!

If God was to chew gum.........

I would want to know what flavor He chews........because I want to be that close to Him.

AMISH GRACE Movie KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. ~ Proverbs 27:17

A Good thing to ask ourselves...........

If my holiness is not drawing others to Him, it is not the right kind of holiness Oswald Chambers

Are you and I helping others come to Christ?

Worry is a down payment on a problem you may never have. Joyce Meyer

Amen to that........

Years ago when I started in radio at KGCX in Sidney, Montana......I was adopted by Craig and Anita Price a young man heads west and the Price's brought me into their family and the community! Amish Grace Movie..........

Grace Hill is promoting a Lifetime Movie Network original film called AMISH GRACE, which airs this Sunday night, March 28. Being a male, I am not likely part of LMN’s target demographic. And out of the hundreds of films Grace Hill has marketed, we’ve done just a couple of TV movies. So you may ask, “Why this one?” Though I will not likely admit this to my wife, the movie is actually very good (in my opinion). Not only is it based on a true story, but it’s compelling and very well acted.

AMISH GRACE is also an interesting story about forgiveness. Not just, “hey, we’re called to forgive” type of story. It’s one in which a character can forgive someone of a horrific tragedy, yet struggles to forgive others on a significantly smaller matter.

I wanted to put it on your radar, and hope you would share with your audience.

Sincerely,

Ted Gartner
Grace Hill Media

AMISH GRACE Talking Points
§ It premieres on Sunday, March 28, 2010, at 8pm ET/5pm PT, on Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime’s sister network and the second highest rated women’s channel

§ Kimberly Williams-Paisley (According to Jim, Father of the Bride Parts I and II) stars as Ida Graber in the Lifetime Movie Network Original Movie Amish Grace.

§ The powerful and moving film is based on a true story about the aftermath that followed the 2006 schoolhouse shooting in the Amish community of Nickel Mines.

§ The movie examines a mother’s (Williams-Paisley) personal journey in which she
copes with the tragic loss of her daughter during the shooting and subsequent
questioning of her faith.

§ Amish Grace is based on the book Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy.

We’re not the only ones that like it. Critics are fans too:
“Riveting, emotionally stirring, a powerful TV experience.”
Phil Boatwright, Preview On Line

“Amish Grace is a powerful television production that belies its simplicity. The performances are strong, unadorned, and credible. The filmmakers avoid explicit violence by suggesting it instead. They chose to make a movie about, and with, grace and they have succeeded. As I watched the film, I just let the story wash over me and I could not stop crying.”
Sister Rose Pacatte
Catholic Exchange

“It was harrowing, exhausting, and amazing to watch this story unfold…It will move you to understand how faith and forgiveness go hand in hand to help people move beyond the most difficult and heart wrenching experiences…It’s forever changed my views of how to have faith and how to forgive whenever I feel forgiveness isn’t an option.”
Nicole Smith
Lifetime Moms

“Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Ida gives a terrific performance”...”The story is well written and moves along quickly”…”Amish Grace is a gripping story that is profoundly touching and contains a message of grace that is sure to inspire.” “It will bring many to tears and many more to a deeper understanding of God’s amazing grace in Jesus Christ.”
Dr. Ted Baehr and Jeff Holder
MovieGuide.com

“This is a gentle, well-crafted, made-for-TV movie about a difficult subject done with dignity, insight, and yes, grace.”
Christian Science Monitor

“Amish Grace is a portrayal of how forgiveness can overcome tragedy. Emotions are shown as very real but something that can be guided by Christian teaching if one has the desire. It’s a movie both simple and complex in Bible teachings.”
Patti Maguire Armstrong
Catholic Exchange

We will be watching this movie, Lord Willing.........

Monday Rise and Shine CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Peace and Strength of the Lord be with you and yours!

Much will be written and said over the coming days, weeks and months, and maybe years about the passage of the Health Care Bill...........But the Lord is in Charge....Our Lord is above all this.........He sits on the throne!

Here are a few nuggets.............

Tweet From Greg Fast: Healthcare passes. I disagree, but my hope is not in healthcare. My hope is in the Lord. What can man or policy do to shake that? Nothing.

Tweet from John Sykes: I now only hope that this sadness and despair will be dispelled by an overwhelming dedication to the recovery of America's greatness!

Health care bill results: An interactive map of the U.S. that shows where and how your Representative voted. http://nyti.ms/a06YlH

Yesterday we put out a need for prayer for Grace Cordova's Mother..........Here is this AWESOME PRAISE REPORT.........

Dewey, thank you so much! Good news! Both echo-cardio and nuclear stress tests came back negative for any cardiac probs, in fact Mom's heart is quite healthy and beautifully strong - praise God!

We still don't know what's at the root of the problem, as she experienced some pretty severe discomfort yesterday and we were quite frightened for her. But at least we know it's not life-threatening and she might even go home tonight! She'll just have to follow up w/her regular Doc in the next day or so.

With this good news, we embark on our drive bk home to Albuquerque, grateful that the Father has heard our prayers and blessed Mom and our family with His loving kindness.

However I must also say thank you, thank God and thanks to all of our generous brothers and sisters for their thoughts and prayers as I do believe our Father hears and grants us mercy and grace.

Thank you, again, for laying down your life as an instrument of the Lord. I am humbly grateful to have you as my friend and part of my Christ-centered network. You are a great role model for all of us. May God continue to bless you and your work now and always.

Grace Cordova.

Yesterday Sharon and I and a few friends from her work attended First Christian Church in Albuquerque. I have passed that Church for 15 years as I drive around Albuquerque, what a wonderful place of worship!!!

We got to see the African Children's Choir perform! What a treat! Go to www.africanchildrenschoir.com

They sang and danced to the Lord! They sang songs like......You are the Shepherd, I belong to you..............Oh happy days.........He's got the Whole World in his hands.........The African Children's Choir was established in 1984 and now has 8,000 Children in schools, 35 schools. Raising up children from poverty to great things.....like Doctor's, Teachers, etc........Sharon and I are going to be a sponsor!

This Wed. The African Children's Choir will be at St. Johns Methodist Church in Santa Fe at 7pm

Thursday at St. James Episcopal Church in Taos at 7pm

Friday at Calvary Church in Pueblo, Colo at 7pm

We are going back to visit First Christian Church again this weekend for the Living Last Supper.

Set in the beauty of the classic painting by Leonardo da Vinci The Living Last Supper brings to life the night in which Jesus and His disciples met in the supper room for their final Passover together.

The Living Last Supper performances are:

Friday March 26 7pm
Sat. March 27 7pm
Sun March 28 5pm

The Church is just east of Montgomery and Eubank on the North side of Montgomery. Call 294-0630 for more info.

By the way I made a special friend yesterday.....Bob who has had 18 mini strokes, 4 major strokes he is 79 yrs of age and served our Country in Korea. I told Bob that Korea was no CONFLICT, it was a WAR! Bob said, you are so right! He was shot down in Korea and suffered major injuries. He is now in a wheel chair........One of our many heroes!!!!! It is a shame this was called a conflict in our history books! It was all out war. My Uncle Burton Moede also served during the Korean War.

We are back on the road again visiting Church's..........Let us know if we can come see you and share!

Let us pray.............

Lord, We thank you for the many brave souls like Bob......Thank you Lord for the brave souls that defend our Country......Thank you Lord for watching over Grace's Mother and family. Thank you for all the children of the African Children's Choir, may we all express the freedom in YOU, like they do!!! Thank you for the folks at the First Christian Church. URGENT PRAYER NEED

Dear KKIM Family,

This from Grace...please be in prayer...Please circulate to your prayer groups.....Thank you and PRAISE THE LORD!

Good Morning Dewey,

Hope you and yours are doing well this beautiful Sunday.

We are in Arizona for what was supposed to be a long, peaceful Spring weekend with my mother and brothers, enjoying the gorgeous warm weather. However yesterday, Mom began experiencing sudden chest and upper back pain, pain around her throat, shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing and breathing and a pesky low grade fever.

She was admitted to the Tucson Heart Hospital where they are conducting tests to identify the problem but so far we're not sure what's wrong. Her symptoms are not typical cardiac indicators, though they will be conducting a nuclear stress test today. The cat scan conducted last night eliminated a possible pulmonary embolism (thank goodness!) and they're exploring the possibility of some kind of infection as the cause of the fever.

As of this writing it looks like I'm going to have to bless my daughter and my fiance and send them on to the 8-hr drive back to Albuquerque so they can go back to school and work tomorrow, while I stay and try to keep Mom calm while we explore what could be causing such discomfort and such an odd mix of symptoms.

Please be so kind as to request prayer from our brothers and sisters that the nice Docs at the Heart Hosp here can identify what's wrong with Mom so she may receive the necessary treatment and recover quickly. Naturally, we're very worried and mystified as to what could create this kind of reaction.

Dewey, as always, I am grateful for you kindness and your friendship. Your work is blessed and we are all blessed as a result of it.

May God continue to guide the work of your hands.

Love,
Grace Cordova

Special Cup on Health Care KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM family this is from Kay..........

Here is the clearest description I have heard of this clever smoke-and-mirrors tactic to pass the Obama health care bill against the will of most of this country's citizens, and why it is dangerous. (This video is democrat Paul Ryan of Wisconsin speaking to the House Ways & Means Committee.) http://www.citizenlink.org/videofeatures/A000012271.cfm

My heart is both sad and angry to see how most of those we have trusted to govern us have proven themselves unworthy of our trust. I have searched the Psalms to see how the innocent David responded to the King who spent 17 years chasing him down to destroy him for doing good. He did not pray "Lord., bless the King." But He prayed earnestly for justice and righteousness for the powerless. Out of my sorrow and anger has come this prayer for our government officials and for ourselves. Perhaps it might help you express what is in your heart to the God who sees our tears and hears our pleas for righteous government.

~ Kay

Appeal to a Righteous God

O Lord, nothing is secret to you and no one can hide their deeds from the eyes of the One who sees all.

You calmly watch and wait to see the foolishness that wicked men devise. You are not worried about their lies and their plots. For You have all the power and might and You will have the Last Word!

No one can fool You. No one can claim, “It isn’t my fault! You can’t blame me – I didn’t do it!” You know the heart of every man and woman and you have promised to repay each one of them according to their deeds. You have said that their own words will convict them when they stand before You for judgment. No one will escape the justice they deserve.

But here on earth Lord, the righteous suffer for the evil deeds of corrupt government officials. The innocent are trapped and suffer at the hands of the guilty. Those who should represent us in the making of righteous laws have become our enemies. We are the victims of their greed and arrogance. While their bank accounts are full and they gorge themselves on delicacies, countless thousands scramble just to get minimal necessities of life. Thousands want employment to support their families, but unjust officials have deprived them of the opportunity to earn a living. Other millions have worked hard, only to see their paycheck shrink in its buying power due to the foolish or selfish decisions of the powerful.

Lord, when the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

We have no other hope, Lord. There is no one who can save us from our own government but You. O Lord, have mercy upon us! Hear our groaning. Pay attention to our cries for righteous government and courts that mete out true justice.

Forgive us for our own sins, Lord - our laziness and neglect. When we could have taken action to make a difference, we were busy pursuing pleasure or being distracted with our everyday activities. Forgive us for tolerating abuse of power and for foolishly electing officials who promised to give us every thing we want. Forgive us for neglecting the hard work of checking the backgrounds and decision trails of candidates. Forgive us for voting for superficial reasons and neglecting to consider which candidates would honor You.

We throw ourselves upon your mercy Lord. We admit that we do not deserve to have our requests considered for we too have sinned. Guide our steps into paths of repentance. Wash us with Your precious lifeblood. Cleanse our hearts and purify our motives. Transform our hearts so that we long to be like Your magnificent Son Jesus.

Draw us to hungrily feed upon Your Word of Truth as starving people who know our very lives depend upon it. Light the fire of devotion within us that will inspire us to obedience out of sheer gratitude for Your undeserved favor. Then our words of correction to our government officials will come from pure lips and righteous hearts (not perfect hearts but hearts who find no greater delight than in pleasing You).

Then we can hold our officials accountable without hypocrisy. Then we can teach sinners Your way of living, which will set them free from meager selfish striving.

For now, O Lord, as our president and congressmen and senators plot to deceive us and bind us with burdens too heavy to bear in this onerous and unjust Health Care Bill, we ask for Your intervention. Glorify Yourself by causing those who delight in deceiving and trickery to be caught in their own traps Lord. Don’t let them get away with this Lord!

Remember how they have flaunted their imagined rights and ignored the righteous statues created by men who honored you. Record that they have betrayed the trust of those who elected them and broken their vows to uphold the Consitution. Take note how the innocent are trampled upon and how the resources that the honest have earned are forcibly taken to give to the lazy who work not.

Father God, the wicked are not just our enemies, they are Yours, because they ignore their accountability to You. They pretend to themselves that there is no God who will hold them accountable. They congratulate themselves for their cleverness in tricking the naïve and the ignorant and the powerless and laugh because they believe that they can get away with it.

But they have not reckoned with the God who sits in the Heavens Who sees and Who knows all, even the hearts of everyone who has ever lived. Remember that You have promised to take vengeance, Lord, to pay back the wicked. We trust You to do it right, as we cannot in our humanity.

Now O Lord, rescue us from the hands of our enemies. Provide for us in proportion to our trust in You. Meet the needs of Your people who obey and honor You. And, as You promised, give us extra so we can share with those who don’t have enough.

Bring glory to Yourself through this miscarriage of justice and mockery of government. May the eyes of everyone be drawn to You O Lord, for You are the only One who deserves all praise.

Amen.

WOW! POWERFUL KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

I got a very loving Tweet from Karen Rowe this morning...........

It really made me think and pray........

And then the Lord sent me to Ronnie Floyd's book, "10 Things every Minister needs to know"

How timely the Lord would have me read these words of Floyd.......prompted by the message from Karen.......

Most Christian are more interested in being right than they are about being Christ-like. When we always have to have our way or have the last word in a debate over an issue, we may lose people on the vision path because we do not operate with Christ-likeness. As Ministers, we can add to the fire at times, rather than serving as the vessel of peace in the midst of the storm.

Wounded Christians lay on the brink of becoming spiritual carnage on the side streets of our churches because a minister or an employee or a church leader "just had to be right." Someone did not have the wisdom to let go, but stayed on it too long to bring lasting benefit.

The Christian life is not about being right. It is about being Christ-like. I heard this said years ago and I have never forgotten it: IF SATAN CANNOT GET YOU TO DO THE WRONG THING, HE WILL GET YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THING THE WRONG WAY.

This satanic ploy has limited, jeopardized, or ruined many ministries.

When you think you always have to be right, you will die on needless hills.

Being right and being Christ-like do not have to be competing forces. Rightness is doing something the way Jesus would do it. Jesus not only did what was right, but He always did it in the right way.

He is a picture of godliness and holiness, and He brought glory to God the Father.

Words of wisdom from Pastor Ronnie Floyd. I will be forever and ever grateful to Pastor Don Kimbro for giving me this book! AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

Thought for the day..........

Meekness does not stand for weakness.........it stands for POWER UNDER CONTROL

Dewey,

I continue to get your e-mails, thanks. I live up near Taos now in retirement, and I see thank all is going
well for you.

God Bless you,

Terry Peters

Here's a quote for you:

"What we call adversity God calls opportunity."

Great day yesterday for prayers, encouragement and fellowship. SUPER.

Also Shorty's BBQ in Moriarty had a prayer session at their restaurant yesterday and are going to keep it going every Wednesday. Might think about asking folks, groups, churches, to email in if they have a special prayer time for America and when they do. Maybe we can all rally around Wednesday's for prayer for our country. Just thinking.

God bless, praying for you, luv ya

Dewey ~

I have had acute and chronic respiratory reactions to many different allergies all my life. I have spent many hundreds of dollars on Rx and OTC allergy treatments and I endured weekly desensitizing injections for 19 years. My reactions weren't as bad when we first moved to Colorado, but are becoming more of a problem and Tom is now reacting too. We have lots of Juniper here too, plus sage brush.

Last Summer we used a product from a local health food store that reduced all our symptoms to ZERO! We were absolutely astonished! And it's not even very expensive. I am glad to share it with you.

It is Allertonic - an herbal tincture (an extract of 9 fresh herbs, cold-processed and grown organically). It is one of the whole line of herbal tinctures produced by Herbs Etc. I suggest just phoning your local health food stores to find who carries this product line. It is a liquid in a dropper bottle that is added to water and taken several times a day. It comes in several sizes. Tom now orders it from an internet supplier who offers a 4-ounce bottle which is cheaper per dose.

Best wishes on silencing the sneezing! I hope your body responds as well as ours does.

~ Kay

Good morning Dewey!
First, I want to thank you so much for all your prayers for me and my various family members.
Today is the first day since returning back home from my emergency trip back to the midwest to take care of things with both my dad and older son that I have felt "human" again and felt on top of things.....this is a very good feeling.
My dad is succeeding in staying focused and getting matters taken care of.
My older son and wife can see God's hand working in their situation....she has even been translating for the Chaplain who is holding Bible studies and services with the group being deported.

Secondly, I am dropping off for you at lunch time a couple of more Xe drinks and some chocolate to help build up your immune system to fight off whatever you are suffering with/from. Xocai is one of the best products with one of the highest antioxidant loads you can consume to build up immunity, take down inflamation, and fight off many adverse health conditions. I would really like to encourage you to come to our chocolate event next Wed night, 7-8pm, at the Sheraton Hotel to learn more about all the benefits of Xocai.....I think you will learn alot and be blessed at the same time.....and you will get some more free chocolate!

I'm praying for you and Sharon and all your needs...health, house, etc.
Blessings, Kitty

"Be still and know that I am God , I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10

Hi Dewey,

Just letting you know that a CD will be on its way today. This week has been more calm than last, but I'm still not getting things done as timely as I would like :) Nothing like waiting to the last minute. Sorry :/

Also, I've been praying for you and your allergies (or whatever it is). You are such a busy guy that I know it's hard to slow down. Take care of yourself and keepup the GREAT work! You and KKIM are such an asset to this state in so many ways.

Wisdom has been on my mind the last couple of days and I'd like to leave you with these great words from James:

"..the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness."

They are words that remind me of you and your mission, you are raising a harvest of righteousness in northern NM. Have a blessed day, Dewey!

This CUP is OVERFLOWING KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Peace and Strength of the Lord be with You!

You know you are growing in Christ when things that used to bother you, the things in life that you have no control over, they don't bother you much at all anymore. That is because you are giving all to the Lord. You are trusting the Lord. If you are constantly bothered, go to your knees and pray and seek a closer relationship with the Lord!

When all is burning down around you......stand firm in the LORD!

To have this inside you, this presence of the Lord is so AWESOME! How do I know?.......I grow into it everyday in my relationship with Jesus Christ!!!

Much to share this morning........

From Senator Orrin Hatch.............

For almost 35 years, the law of the land has been an explicit prohibition against federal taxpayer dollars being used to pay for elective abortions, known as the Hyde amendment, after the late great Illinois congressman. This is a policy supported by the majority of the American people.

In fact, this hard-fought explicit ban was included in the health care bill that passed the House last year. Regrettably, the Senate did not follow suit and instead passed a bill that would allow hard-earned taxpayer dollars to pay for elective abortion. That is a simple fact. Unfortunately, in a mad rush to secure enough votes, leading House Democrats now intend to take up the Senate-passed bill, arguing that the Senate language prohibits federal funding of abortion. Besides that fact that this simply not true, it also demonstrates the lengths the president and his allies will take to pass this bill against the will of the American people.

Just this week, Cardinal Francis George, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, issued a statement saying, “Notwithstanding the denials and explanations of its supporters, and unlike the bill approved by the House of Representatives in November, the Senate bill deliberately excludes the language of the Hyde amendment. It expands federal funding and the role of the federal government in the provision of abortion procedures.”

First, the Senate bill allows elective abortions to be offered through the newly-created individual state health insurance exchanges and multi-state health plans administered by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and through federally-subsidized plans in already-existing community health centers.

Second, there is nothing in this legislation that requires any of these programs to live up to both the spirit and letter of the Hyde amendment that Congress has included each year in spending bills that fund the government. This not only prevents federal funding of elective abortions, but also erects an iron-clad firewall against any private money for abortion being mixed with any federal or state health program receiving federal dollars. This applies, for example, to Medicaid, a health program for the economically disadvantaged that is funded by both federal and state governments. If any resources are used for elective abortions that money must be kept completely separate from Medicaid. This is sound policy that must be maintained.

Regrettably, the Senate-passed bill doesn’t include this firewall. Anyone who doesn’t earn enough money would qualify for a federal subsidy to help pay for their health plan in the state exchanges, including plans offering elective abortion coverage. Some argue that under the Senate-passed bill, federal funding would be “segregated” so no federal money would pay for abortions. But this is a violation of the Hyde amendment, which also prevents the federal funding of insurance that covers elective abortion.

Furthermore, it is entirely possible that there would only be one health plan in any given state that does not include elective abortion. And even if you are opposed, you may well be railroaded into choosing a plan that covers it, because you might be looking for the best plan to treat a sick child or your own health condition.

What’s more, passing a new state law is the only way an individual state could truly ensure that elective abortions are not included in the plans offered through a state insurance exchange. That would be easier in some states than in others, but that’s unfair to those who are morally opposed to federal funding of abortion and happen to live in states where passing such a law would be extremely difficult.

Lastly, under this proposal, community health centers would receive a dedicated stream of money outside the annual congressional process to fund the government which is where the Hyde prohibition is maintained. So that means that for the first time federal money could be used to fund abortion at a community health center.

Those are the facts, and anyone who thinks the Senate abortion language is strong enough should think again. That is because, regardless of one’s position on this controversial issue, it is entirely reasonable to expect that a person who is fundamentally and morally opposed to abortion should not have to sanction its use with their hard-earned tax payer dollars.

Orrin Hatch represents Utah in the United States Senate.

Catholic Church Can Blame Itself for Sex Scandals, Declining Confidence
March 17, 2010 04:43 PM ET | Bonnie Erbe | Permanent Link | Print
By Bonnie Erbe, Thomas Jefferson Street blog
If someone set out to destroy the image of the Catholic Church hierarchy as god-like and beyond reproach, that person could not possibly do a better job of destroying that veneer than what is being done by church leaders themselves. Sex scandal after sex scandal after pedophilia scandal has dogged the church leadership for the past two decades or more, and the pope and his close advisers have yet to catch up with how to handle a 21st-century public relations gaffe, much less trying to piece back together the lives of so many people ruined by priests’ actions.
First, there were the priest pedophilia incidents that came to light in the mid-1980s and rocked the American church to the point where whole dioceses filed for bankruptcy as lawsuits for sexual abuse skyrocketed.
Now similar cases seem to be appearing all over Europe, including Germany, where the pope’s own brother is linked to a nasty and growing scandal. According to Reuters:
The scandal there has personally drawn in Bavarian-born Pope Benedict, whose brother ran for 30 years the prestigious Regensburg choir which has been linked to cases of abuse.
The era of technology and instant global communication as well as more openness in government and governance has made it almost impossible for large institutions to hide corruption and scandal as they became used to doing in previous eras. This is not new. And the Catholic Church is far from the only major religion to have been jolted down to the foundation by similar allegations.
The question in my mind is why, after all the evidence of man-made corruption, do the “faithful” continue to be so? Isn’t it obvious that organized religion is completely man-made? Isn’t it obvious that men pervert the power that followers voluntarily give over to them and use it to rape and pillage again and again?
The following comment, also in the Reuters article, emanated from no less than the second-highest-ranking official of the church, Vatican Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone. Even he acknowledged that confidence in the church had declined:
“There has been a reduction in faith in all institutions including the Church,” said Bertone, number two in the Vatican hierarchy, after meeting Italian business leaders.
“The Church still enjoys great confidence on the part of the faithful, it is just that someone is trying to undermine that,” he said, without referring directly to the pedophilia scandal. “But the Church has special help, from above.”
Sorry, Mr. Bertone, but no one is trying to “undermine that” more than the priests and church leaders who not only participated in these horrendous acts but conspired to keep them silent

Now from Pastor Don Kimbro...........

Hello everyone,
This is our modest flyer that will be distributed in Willard via their utility bills, and also through the gracious efforts of an 84-year old saint, Peggy Russell, who will also personally deliver to each house. Thank you for your desire to see this dark place enjoy the Light of the Gospel once again (Mt. 4:16). The Village is buzzing by the way, and the devil is getting nervous. May God be praised and Jesus be exalted in the hearts and minds of the people of Willard through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Tune in to "Nuggets of Truth," on KKIM-AM 1000 and 94.7 FM Radio,
Mon-Fri at 7:30 AM & PM.

We have this from John Robb...good stuff............

Friends, at age 62 one sometimes succumbs to "senior moments" which I must have done yesterday. It has happened more often than I would like to admit. Just to correct what was sent you earlier. The dates for the Mexico prayer initiative are March 22-23, this coming Monday and Tuesday. Sorry for any confusion caused.
Thanks so much for your prayer support for His liberation to come in this embattled situation in our sister nation.
Warm regards,
John

Dear Friends,
Here is some good news to encourage you. We have been praying for Pakistan and Afghanistan. A Pakistani friend wrote recently to say that the prayer movement in his country continues to expand and there are now around 3000 who pray when they put out an alert. There are other prayer networks as well that have sprung up to intercede for this strategic nation. They like we have been praying about the terrorism issue there, and he reports that the security situation has “quite improved in the past few months”. You have also probably heard reports of the arrest or death of Taliban leaders in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. Though we don’t rejoice in the death of anyone, we do thank God that He is answering prayer for the liberation of these two nations from the scourge of the Taliban and Al Qaida. Please pray for a decisive victory and that the strategies of the allied forces in Afghanistan and those of the Pakistani army in their country will be effective. As a prayer leader friend put it, “let’s agree with David for the Lord to break the arm of the wicked (Psalms 10:15) and with Hosea that God may destroy the wicked high places (Hosea 10:18). Pray for protection over the Christian believers, humanitarian agencies and their staff (World Vision just lost 6 staff killed by the Taliban) as well as for the guesthouses where foreigners stay which have been targeted by suicide bombers in recent months.

We can also thank God for the report from Haiti that on February 12, 2010, President Préval of~Haiti called his nation to three days of~fasting and prayer in~place of the regular Mardi Gras celebration. Several of the nation's Christian leaders arranged this event in which over one million~Haitians~participated. If you like, you can see it on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30rWm84z-zg. Let’s continue to pray that Haiti will turn from voodoo to serve Jesus Christ and also for the unity of the nation, its humanitarian and economic recovery as well strong commitment by Christian and political leaders within this process.

Morocco needs our prayers. A small but vibrant church movement in the country is now under great pressure because of a heavy clamp-down by the authorities. About 45 foreign workers, some of whom were taking care of an orphanage with 33 children, have been suddenly been kicked out of the country. Pray for a lifting of this oppressive control by the government and that the believers will have continued freedom to worship and serve the Lord without being hassled. Pray too that the foreign believers will be able to return to serve and that the orphan children they had to leave behind will be well taken care of. The orphanage website is http://www.voh-ainleuh.org/ if you want to read more about this situation.

As you must have heard, Mexico is in an all out war with the drug cartels that have killed many public officials, as well as large numbers of the police and army. This conflict has already claimed more than 18,000 lives on both sides over the last three years. Americans along the border area have also been murdered by these ruthless and evil drug lords and their henchmen as again happened in the last couple of days.

These criminals have an estimated $15 to 20 billion dollars worth of revenue from their illicit activities to corrupt just about anyone in public service and to buy the most modern weapons and employ their own armies. There is a definite link with occult powers that needs to be broken as well. (Our prayer initiative teams have observed the same thing many times in other terrible conflict situations around the world. Public officials enter into agreements with the dark realm to get power for themselves, opening the door for the devil to sow destruction in the land through violence and death.)

This coming Monday and Tuesday, March 22 and 23, a special prayer initiative will be held with prayer leaders and some public officials. Some of these same officials have already received death threats from the narco-traffickers. Please pray with us for His guidance and anointing, along with a strong sense of His discernment and authority. Pray too for protection for all of us and our families from any backlash or attack of the evil one and those he controls. Pray that the forces of darkness and violence will be bound and their influence broken over the land and that the government will be able to prevail over the cartels, capturing their leaders and destroying their drug empire.

Thanks for your support in prayer. It will make a huge difference, thanks be to God!

Wed Cup KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

KKIM and the CUP, Reaching the World for Jesus!!! We boast in the GREATNESS of our LORD!!!

May the Strength and Peace of the Lord be with you and yours!

Happy St. Patties Day! It was the luck of the Irish that I met Sharon on this date 8 years ago at Starrbucks on Montgomery! PRAISE GOD! Also Grandpa Caraways birthday, he was such a role model for me! This week on the 19th, Sharon's birthday and on the 20th, Lars birthday.

Ps.When I met Sharon for the first time she smiled at me and had buck teeth......she is such a joker...she was wearing an insert!

I almost ran away!

Are you wearing green today? Sharon is! I am wearing Juniper! LOL!

I am struggling with allergies, The Juniper is nailing me! WOW!

Juniper is at 196 here on the Westside of Alby.....very high.

Any suggestions? I have tried about everything except holding my head underwater for 10 minutes! LOL!

There is only so much you can do for a face for radio!!!!

I have received many suggestions......but none have worked thus far. It seems to be getting worse every year when the Juniper is going strong here in New Mexico.

I was feeling so good then went to NRB and it all started on the way back.....My buddy, Tom Lewis got pneumonia and is recovering. Tom will be with us, Lord Willing, at the end of the month to do a radio-a-thon for Haiti, March 30th and 31st.

Here is a couple of prayer updates for us......

Frank Haley's granddaughter, Brooke went home from the hospital yesterday.....Praise God! What a long haul for that little tike! Also it was of course very stressful for the entire family.

Now Helen texted me yesterday to give me the latest on the baby twins.....

Valdez Joshua will have heart surgery today to close a valve and Orlando Jude had a hemorrhage` in his brain but they do not know the impact as of now. Remember these are the Twins who were born at 6 months....under 2 pounds.....Please keep them in your prayers.

Today at Noon KKIM will have a time of Public Prayer......we are at a very crucial time in our country..anytime we put sin in our laws....in our health care, such as abortion....
we need to repent as a nation. God will not bless our country as long as we abort babies. We cannot pretend to be a great nation as long as we kill babies. Pastor Leonard Navarre will lead us in prayer. We will also be praying at 4:30 today.

The battle rages on for the Christian way of life in America.....Pastor Lane Brown on KKIM weekdays at 1:30pm. Sat 10am, Sun 10:30am......told me the other day, "Dewey, I hear in your voice, your sadness, your grieving at times, your conviction....and someday's you sound tired." Lane continued, "Abe Lincoln once said, "I must be the most tired person in the World." Lincoln said those words during the Civil War.

I appreciate the love and concern of Lane. For the Christian way of life we are at war. Spiritual warfare. God's Word calls us to be the salt and light of the World until He comes.

If we do not speak up who will? they already are.......and in some ways they are winning.

Let us not just throw up our hands and give up and be silent!

I do what I do for the Lord and His children...for the Children and their Children....

John Scott provides a fitting analysis of Paul's assessment of the spiritual darkness he found on his visit to Athens...........(what would Paul say if he visited America today?)

Paul's reaction to the city's idolatry was not negative only but also positive and constructive. he did not merely throw up his hands in despair, or weep helplessly, or curse and swear at the Athenians. No, he shares with them the good news of Jesus. he sought by proclamation of the gospel to prevail on them to turn from their idols to the living God and so to give to him and to his Son the glory due their name. The stirrings of his spirit with righteous indignation opened his mouth in testimony.

Chuck Swindoll writes......

Not only did careful observation play a vital role in Paul's preparation for preaching, he also engaged in an exercise of thoughtful interrogation, interacting one on one with the people of Athens.

Great stuff from John Scott and Chuck Swindoll......we need to be the salt and light......carry out the Great Commission!

We just cannot sit back and complain!

KKIM and the CUP...Reaching the World for Jesus!!!!

Let us pray.....

Lord, I pray that more Christians will come out of their shell and be the salt and light that You call us to be. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

A Doctor in Albuquerque has announced that he is now performing third-trimester abortions. Please pray. Go to www.mykkim.com and click under programming for news and weather, Frank Haley has the complete story.

We have these prayer needs from Kitty.......

Thank you for praying:

My dad is recovering from pneumonia and has several challenges still ahead of him to relieve himself from stress and responsibilities beyond his ability to handle right now. My older son needs prayer as he is recovering from surgery and is a single dad as he goes through the process to bring his wife back to the states from Honduras. Both need God's favor and miracles to open doors, healing and strength physically, emotionally and spiritually. They are born-again believers My sister is going through surgery again...third time....in April dealing with breast cancer. She needs prayer for healing...especially emotionally and spiritually. She is not saved. And my younger son needs a job that will work around his class schedule...he is at CNM in welding.

Thanks Dewey!

Master Life

In our quest to reach people for our Lord Jesus Christ and to teach them the "how to's" of the Christian life many times we miss the mark simply because we do not have a plan. Here at Valley View Christian Church, Edgewood, New Mexico we have joined hundred, maybe thousands, of other individuals and congregations to provide a process. If you remember in Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus Christ, gave us a mission, a real mandate for each Christian. Jesus said in verse 19, "Go and make disciples...". Therefore, the mission of every Christian is to make disciples. "A disciple is one who is a follower of Jesus Christ and meets His requirements, forsaking all else to follow Him" - MasterLife page 3.

MasterLife is our plan at Valley View Christian Church. It is written by Avery T. Willis along with Sherrie Willis Brown, and published by Broadman & Holman Publishers. Many Christian bookstores along with www.christianbook.com carries this book and also the 26 week in depth process. This is a process to encourage the development of specific areas of our spiritual life. Here at Valley View Christian Church we are using it over a six week time frame to help people grow closer to their Lord Jesus Christ and then to be willing to adopt and mentor another individual. This six week process covers the following:

The Disciple's Cross: here we learn step by step how to practice six Biblical disciplines of an obedient disciple. We learn how to spend time with the Master, Live in the Word, Pray in faith, Fellowship with Believers, Witness to the World and how to minister, serve others.

The Disciple's Personality: in this study we find how to live out our Christian life in the Holy Spirit and have our personalities molded into Christlikeness. Even though we all have different personalities and traits, each disciple of Jesus Christ should be striving each day to become more like the Master, Jesus Christ, in our behavior.

The Disciple's Victory: many Christians live their lives as if Satan has won and they can't do anything about the baggage in their lives. In study three, we learn how each Christian can triumph over the allurement of the world, the desires of the flesh and live as "more than conquerors" over the evil one.

The Disciple's Mission: Jesus stated two important truths. One, Jesus said, "come follow me", Matthew 4:19. So, in the first 3 sessions of MasterLife we have learned how to follow the Master and develop a lifestyle like His. Secondly, Jesus commanded, "as you go on your journey, make disciples," Matthew 28:19 In the last session of MasterLife we how to reproduce (make disciples) and multiple (involve in ministry). We learn how to develop and share our life story in Jesus Christ with others. We also learn how to be a MasterBuilder in the lives of others starting with our family, then to our neighbors and on to our community. The goal is to be reproducing spiritual disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ. "MasterLIfe" is the process we are using at Valley View Christian Church to multiply disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ.

II Timothy 2:2

You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. - Apostle Paul

Karen Rowe, Thursdays on KKIM at 2:45 shares this after yesterdays CUP.........

Awesome! I had a revelation this morning on just this topic! "Understanding God's will comes as you grow and mature in your walk with Christ!" And also "knowing the will of God for our life"
God has been teaching me lately that when I pray, it is not telling God what to do (I never thought that... ever, but sometimes I would feel guilty in prayer as almost crossing that line...not really, but just a mind hindrance to prayer)
God has been teaching me lately that when I pray, I am praying in line with God's will already. In other words, the closer that I grow in knowledge to God, the more my will is aligned to God's will and I am recognizing God's will lead my prayers in Spirit. To me this is AWESOME!!!

okay, not sure I worded all that perfectly, but AMEN to DDC!

Well, gotta run, MUCH work to do again today...Praise be to God!!!

Love in Christ,
Karen Rowe, NC

Let us pray........Lord forgive us for our trespasses.......they are many as a Country........We will stand boldly here for You and your children Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

Snowy Day Cup KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May the Strength and Peace of the Lord be with you and yours always!

Chuck Swindoll says, "You can't silence a called and gifted preacher."

This is the message that the Lord put on my heart for you today.........

Understanding God's will comes as you grow and mature in your walk with Christ.

The above words are so important.......

We must know the Will of our Lord for our lives........

We must know the Will of our Lord in our lives for today..........

I used to just go on my feeling of what I should do......

Then when Christ took my life over completely..........as I gave in..........I follow the Lord's Will......He sends His helper the Holy Spirit to guide me.........

Do you have this in your life?

I am out to tell the World everyone can have this!!! It is so exciting!

This is better than a GRANDSLAM HOMERUN!!!!

You do not have to rely on yourself to make all those big decisions........to make plans...........

You do not have to fret or worry...........

I Love James 4:13-15

Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit."

whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that."

Is the Lord in your plans? Are your plans of the Lord?

The Lord is with you and when you are so close to the Lord you hear HIM! Yes you do!!! He will speak to you!

Dallas Willard says, "Spiritual people are not those who engage in certain spiritual practices; they are those who DRAW THEIR LIFE from a conversational relationship with God."

Call unto the Lord to send the Holy Spirit into your life.

I encourage you to humble yourself before God. Open your ears and your heart to HIS voice. Listen. Wait. Tell Him you need Him. Ask Him to speak to you. Ask Him for courage and hope. Tell Him that you are struggling, that you are weak and afraid. Let Him talk to you! Give into the Lord........Just let it all out.....give 150% of yourself to the Lord........turn your life over to Him.

If man would do this we would not have so much turmoil in our lives. I know it is not easy......The flesh can creep in now and again and start to take charge.......that is why we need to stay so close to the Lord.

Let us pray.........LORD, Sharon and I thank you for all the friends you have sent our way.........the fellowship of others is such a blessing.......thank you LORD. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Time Change/Prayer needs KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIIM Family,

"Faith has to have works or it flaps in a circle. And works have to have faith or the works are dead." AW Tozer

Just a reminder that we set our clocks ahead one hour last night because of the time change. I think some forgot. Sorry for the late reminder.

"A good laugh makes us better friends with ourselves and everybody around us." Orison Swett Marden

Have an AWESOME day of Worship and Praise

A great time of fellowship yesterday with the Heights Christian Church softball team. What a wonderful bunch of guys! Great fellowship!

Here are some wise words from Chuck Swindoll.......

We not only need the Lord, we need each other. Desperately. That need for others only intensifies when the barometer of life drops to the bottom of the gauge----when the winds of adversity blow hard against our souls. We cannot make it on our won. We were created for dependence, not independence. We cannot direct our own steps in the right way without the Lord and without each other.

Amen to those words by Chuck Swindoll heard weekdays on KKIM 6:30am and 6:30pm

Prayer needs.........

Pastor Jim Montoya received this phone call last night during our TV Program seen Sat at 6pm and Sun 7pm on KAZQ CH32 Comcast 22...........

David was delivered out of the hands of King Saul
V 7 in my distress I called upon my God and he did hear my voice out
of His temple and my cry did into His ears.
Pete repented of his backsliding and taking drugs. He received the
Lord and renounced Satan and all his demons.
I cast the demons and bound them and commanded that they would never
return again.
Pray for him and the situation that he is in with his girl friend.
He was crying!!!

Let us pray for Pete.............Let us all carry out the Great Commission and reach the World for Jesus!

Pastor Leonard passed this prayer need along........

Dear Leonard & Diana,

May the peace of Jesus Christ, the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the presence of God be in your hearts and minds. It is our privilege to greet you from India and tell you how God is working through our lives and the ministry of CICM. As you read this report please know that you are a part of the CICM team and we all have the same goal. Our roles may be different, but God has united us for His purpose, His plan and His glory.

It is difficult for me to prepare the report for February. So many things have happened. There have been many victories and many wonderful things, but also some struggles and disappointments as well. Let me first highlight some of the things that have been positive.

Reports from Shahdol, Raipur, Korba, Bilaspur and the Bundelkhand area show over 1,400 first-time decisions for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our evangelists have planted four new churches in Hardival, Lamer, Puchli and Sastojot with 300 plus believers.

CICM leaders held four seekers camps/conferences in the northern and central regions of India with over 1,200 people participating.

We provided food, clothing, medical care and a drilled well for 860 at-risk children.

The LEAP Foundation from the Dallas area led a group of 27 medical personnel for a cleft lip/palate surgery camp. With the help of CICM's medical team they performed 72 surgeries to correct cleft lip and palate deformities. During this time over 300 people (patient's family members) stayed around our hospital in three tents for one week.

A meeting at the Shahdol prison resulted in 30 decisions.

31 visitors from Dallas and Savannah came to visit and help CICM's ministry.

Partnering with the Christian Institute of Management, we held a seminar on management for Christian leaders. About 55 leaders benefited from this seminar.

Our medical team helped 3,200 plus patients at the Mission Hospital and the Kansa Clinic. There were 27 major surgeries and 11 babies were delivered.

CICM led 17 evangelistic meetings reaching over 15,000 people with the message of Jesus Christ.
Here are some of the difficult situations, persecution and struggles our Mission team experienced during February.
Our dynamic evangelist, Emmanuel Namro, was killed in an automobile accident. He leaves his widow, Sabita, and a ten-year-old son and four-year-old daughter. Click here to view pictures and videos of Emmanuel Namro and his family.

On February 28, 70 extremists attacked the church at Kawardha when our evangelist Sanatan Masih was preaching. The extremists damaged the building, destroyed the doors and windows and also attacked the believers. Bro. Sanatan is undergoing treatment in Bilaspur.

Lashi is struggling with malaria, jaundice and typhoid and has been on oxygen more than 10 times. She is still fighting with all this at one time.

Extremist groups tried to stop the LEAP Foundation doctors from performing the corrective surgeries at our hospital. Finally Ajai had to approach the State's High Court and received help from the judiciary system to allow the doctors to complete the surgeries.

A campaign against CICM leaders by an extremist group in the Shahdol district is getting heated as more people are becoming involved against the evangelistic activities of the local church and CICM.

A group of extremist leaders is attacking the Mission with charges of "forceful conversions". They are in the process of taking some legal action through the court against CICM's leadership.

Four leaders from Orissa State came to us asking for protection and provision for the persecuted Christians who are still without shelter, food, and with no hope for their children's education. We want to continue to provide help in Orissa. Your donations will be much appreciated and will allow us to continue our relief efforts in Orissa.

Click here to view pictures of February's events

We continue to face challenges and move on. We must say that we have experienced God's strength and His power in a very special and significant way. God continues to lead us, give us victories and make His presence known.

We have many needs related with our new evangelistic work, leadership training, vocational training, children's ministry, literature ministry and helping the persecuted Christians. We will be happy to answer your questions and inform you about the specific needs.

We desperately need your prayers and are grateful to you for your continuous support, love and generosity for the ministry of CICM. We will be happy to hear from you.

With Grateful Hearts,

Ajai and Indu Lall,
Josh and Lashi Howard and the CICM Team
alall@indiamission.org

P.S. Due to some limitations and restrictions we are not able to give you the minor details related to the enquiries and attacks we face from the government.

Thanks for passing this along Pastor Leonard and letting us prayer with you!

Please Read James 4 today.........The Lord put that on my heart for all of us today!

Let us Pray.........Lord thank you for our Fellow believers.......the times of fellowship and prayer! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family

QUICK CUP WITH KYLE MARTIN KKIM DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

The salvation which comes from God means being completely delivered from myself. From Oswald Chambers AMEN!

Pastor Kyle Martin who is on KKIM weekdays at 5:30am, 7:35am, 4pm Sat 1:05, Sun 8:30am and Kyle also led the Revival in Santa Fe, over a year ago now........He is such a Godly man and I wanted to share this, from Kyle, with you.........We love Kyle and his family and staff so much.......

Hey friends and family,

I just wanted to send an attachment that describes the upcoming trip to Sedona, AZ. Awaken the Valley will be held on Monday, April 19 - Sunday, April 25.

The Lord has been refining our vision, and we will still be going for 7-days, yet this time, awaken the valley will be hosted in 7 different locations throughout the Verde Valley. Please read the simple, yet detailed attachment for more information.

*But just to give you a taste of what is ahead - on the first night, we are tentatively looking at meeting in a local Sedonian's garage, where we will be eating, having fellowship, inviting the community, enjoying worship, telling a Bible story, watching the Jesus Painter paint a 6'x4' painting, and listening to Jaci Velasquez and her husband Nick (of Salvador) sing to the Lord. It has the simple grassroots approach, yet by the power of the Spirit, we will be very intentional about making disciples and growing the kingdom of God.

We would love for each one of you to consider coming out and joining us on this journey (for any duration) as we look to make a difference in one of the most beautiful places in America for the sake of Jesus Christ.

Good times ahead,
Kyle

PS - Please don't hesitate to pass this onto others if you think they might be interested.

Please keep Kyle and his family and Ministry in your prayers. If you desire further info you can email me.

We give Thanks and Praise to our Lord for Kyle and his family and Ministry folks!!!

IMPORTANT PS TO THE CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

This is a follow up to Today's post...........We must stand for God........We must stand for the poor......We must stand for Life...many of my mentors tell me we have or are in the process of creating a culture of death in this country.........and now this very very sad story that Frank Haley had on KKIM News this morning........

>>Child For Sale On Craigslist

(Albuquerque, NM) -- An administrative assistant with the Boys and Girls club found a child for sale on Craigslist. The ad offered a "little Asian kid," who was three, talks too much and was not wanted anymore. The seller also writes "I need my fix" and leaves a phone number. The woman who found the ad, contacted Craigslist and the police. Craigslist took down the ad about an hour after it was posted. Albuquerque police are investigating.

Let us keep this in our prayers............

Proverbs 21:13 says Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor

Will also cry himself and not be heard.

We cannot stand by while God's Children are aborted, sold, sold for sex, or killed by drunk drivers.

Are you hearing the cry of the poor?

To the LIGHT OF GOD we turn...........

Here is a HUGE PRAISE NOTE KKIM Reaching the World for our GOD.......
