Dewey graduated from Brown Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota in TV/Radio with honors in 1979 and is on Brown's Wall of Fame. His award winning radio career has taken him to Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Indiana, and Dewey has been in New Mexico since 1995. In his 30 years in radio he has served from a country music DJ to News Director to Sales Manager and now he works as Station Manager. Day's greatest joy is his wife, Sharon and five grown children; Gretchen, Lars, Greg, Stephanie, and Michael. Plus he has three dogs, Brownie, Buffy, and Reno. Dewey still loves to play softball, plays on 2 different teams, and is a die-hard Minnesota Twins fan. Dewey is Manager of KKIM AM and FM in Albuquerque and Santa Fe NM. He also manages KARS 860 AM in Belen, NM. He is the SR. Host f " New Mexico News and Views" weekdays at 4:30 on KKIM and also Hosts " Focus on New Mexico" heard on all American General Stations in New Mexico on Sundays. Dewey also has a radio version of "Dewey's Daily Cup" Wed at 3:30, Saturdays at 5:05 and Sundays at 6:15 am and 5:20 pm. He loves getting out and speaking to Church groups and organizations.
